Is there a minus row of stars? This guy belongs in prison! I read the complaints and thank God I don't have a complaint like theirs but I probably should have filed one, I just didn't want to send all the documentation that was necessary to substantiate my claim, etc. I purchased a brown leather couch from him in his home office, no store! It arrived on time, etc. but the center cushion didn't wear as well as the two end ones. Rod send his cronies over finally after a couple months but they didn't do anything other than take it apart, re-wrap the foam with some thin material and it didn't change one thing! I contacted Palliser, the maker of the couch and they backed him up; I wonder what they think NOW!!??

This man took an order from me and my husband for *** totaling $4,745.05 on 2/26/20 with a promised delivery of early to Mid April. He requested and took a cash deposit of $2400. I followed up with him in early April for delivery date and he told me because of COVID the manufacturing was delayed I should get it late May. I followed up in late May and was told they were still behind and he would call me in June. I called *** and explained the situation. They reviewed *** account with them and I was told they had not done any business with him since 2018. I called *** and he told me he was going through an interior designer to place his order. *** Told me there was not any order in their system for what I had ordered from any customer in the country. When I confronted *** with this information, he then said the order was not placed and he would get my money back in a couple of weeks he had no working capitol!!! I want our $2400 deposit back asap!!! This man is a scam!!! I have since heard he owes peopl as much as $48,000!!!!

As I have stated before, I am shut down because of the virus. As soon as I reopen and have cash flow, I will refund customers money.

During January of 2019 we ordered furniture from Rod M Glass LLC. We paid the entire purchases of $6460.66 which includes sales tax of $545.66. Its been over 16 months with lots of phone calls and emails. Rod has lied to us over and over. First it was the sectional was on back-ordered and then after 10 months my wife selected a different fabric as he said they were out of stock and then he said it should be in right after the first of the year and then it was the virus was slowing down the shipment. Once we realized he was lying to us he admitted he never ordered the couch and that he doesn't have any money to pay us back. From a quick online search it looks like this is common practice for him.

I am rejecting this response because: Rod Glass has lied to us for almost 18 months now. He admitted lying about our furniture order and indicated he had less than $100 in his account and didn't have a plan or any idea on how he would pay us back. This guy is a criminal.

On 10/17/19 my wife placed an order in person for a *** Furniture sofa with Rod Glass and delivered a check paid in full for 1,851.36. Rod Glass told my wife that the sofa would be delivered in 10 weeks (Late Dec. 2019). My wife followed up with Rod Glass in early January 2020 and was told the sofa should arrive shortly. My wife followed up a few more times and was given the same song and dance. What we came to learn were blatant lies.

On 2/11/20 I spoke with Rod Glass looking for an update and he told me he would check with the manufacture as they had been running behind. What Rod Glass did not know was that I had already spoken with the manufacture and they had no order on file from Rod Glass. The manufacture also stated that Rod Glass had been banned from carrying or ordering any of their product for some time. He was caught in a lie. I told Rod Glass that if he returned my money immediately we would part ways. Rod Glass stated that he did not have the money and should be able to pay me back in 30 days. That would have been around 3/11/20 and still no refund.

On 2/13/20, uncertain that Rod Glass would pay me back in a lump sum; I sent him a promissory note allowing him to pay me back over 6-months ($308.56 per month). Rod Glass never responded. I followed up with the Promissory Note again on 2/18/20 and still no response from Rod Glass.

I have come to learn that multiple cheated customers of Rod Glass have filed reports with the Des Peres Police Dept. and I will be doing the same.

On August 8th, I ordered furniture from glass. I paid the entire purchases of $7574.75 which includes sales tax of $639.75. Its been over 6 months with tons of phone calls and text messages. I heard nothing but lies every time I made contact with him. Just be patient, just a little longer, its on a boat, they shipped it weeks ago, it should be here right after the first of they year, it will be in by the end of January. We did some searching and found out we were not the only ones he stole from. I contacted him on February 11 and after 3 phone calls he admitted he never ordered my furniture. He also indicated he has gotten himself in a mess but yet he still has his office open and willing to to take others money. I asked how long he was going to take to pay me back and he said he is working on it.

I am rejecting this response because:It has been 7 months today and I have heard nothing but lies until he finally admitted he never ordered my furniture. He indicated he would contact me when he has funds and I have not yet heard from him.

I purchased a sofa and a love seat from Rod M. Glass Company May 28th, 2019 with the expected delivery to be 6-8 weeks. I have called at 8 weeks and it was delayed 2-3 week. I called 3 weeks later and it was delayed 4-5 weeks. I called 5 weeks later and he confessed he was on a credit hold with the factory and it would be a few more weeks. It has now been 21 weeks since we purchased and he says he will refund my money "in a few more weeks" and that is what I have been getting told for the past 5 weeks.I paid in full $3,700 on the date of purchase.

I have not received the promised refund.

On February 13, 2019 I placed an order with ***. I was asked to pay the full amount of $4,600 as the furniture manufacturer required full payment from *** when he placed the order . At this time, I was told my order would take 8-12 weeks as it was a custom order. I followed up with *** on April 24th which was 10 weeks and was told the furniture manufacturer was running behind and it would be another 3-4 weeks. I followed up again on May 15th which was 13 weeks and was told the same thing - manufacturer running behind, another 3-4 weeks. Once again I followed up on June 5th which was 16 weeks. I was then told my furniture was in limbo due to the tariff situation. I then realized that *** was being dishonest and so I requested a full refund. He agree to the refund but need another 4 weeks as he nor the business had sufficient cash flow. I gave him two weeks and followed up with him again on June 19th. He once again told me he nor the business had the cash flow to repay me. When pressed about the business' financial situation, he admitted that he had cash flow issues and had used my payment to pay for other expenses. I have followed up with *** weekly in an effort to get my refund but to no avail. I have conducted business with *** for over 15 years and feel that he is no longer a reliable resource for furniture.

I am rejecting this response because:
I placed an order on February 12th which is 5 1/2 months ago. I can not trust that I will be repaid in the next six months. Thus, I very adamantly and respectfully request that I be reimbursed in full immediately.

Ordered $6,963.09 worth of furniture paid in full by personal check. Furniture order was not accepted by manufacturer due to poor credit and therefore never delivered. I demanded a refund and was told that *** had no credit and was unable to refund my money.

I am rejecting this response because: *** operates a wholesale furniture business with his daughter Jamie, they have a very small office filled with manufacturer's brochures, no inventory and therefore very low overhead. A client would look through the pick out what they want and write Glass out a check. Glass would order the furniture pay the manufacturer and keep his profit. Glass may be suffering financially, however, there was no reason to bilk many of his customers. He knew he would not be able to deliver the goods and therefore used his clients money for his personal use.

I purchased a living room furniture sectional on 9/28/2018 and have not received it. It was supposed to be a 4-6 week lead time. Every time I call it keeps getting pushed out further. The latest was the end of January. He said I could get a refund, but I keep getting told that he does not have the funds. I paid for my furniture up front and so does everyone else that does business with him. Since he can't deliver the furniture in a reasonable about of time, then I want my money back. I have checked with other places that carry this brand and they told me 6-8 weeks.

I am rejecting this response because:I asked for my money back in mid November and he said it would be 7-10 days. I called at 10 days to see where the check was. That is when I got the sob story that December is a tough month. Now he is at saying end of Jan? This is a joke when everyone pays for their furniture upfront. I should not have to continue to wait for my refund when he can’t deliver the product I purchased.
