I cannot say enough great things about Rodas Construction. [redacted] came out to do the initial estimate. [redacted] was extremely knowledgeable about the products, application and what shingles and colors would be best for our house. He worked with the insurance company to file a claim for hail damage. The estimate was lower than the other bids but provided better materials. Team showed up when scheduled, finished early and did a great job cleaning up. [redacted] also came out several time during the application to make sure the team had what they needed and to check the work. A final inspection was done when we made payment which was a nice touch. We were so happy with the roof we plan to have Rodas Construction do some wood repair and siding next month.

RODAS CONSTRUCTION misrepresented the roof warranty details, used an underliner they were not suppose to use, and threastened lawsuit when challenged.RODAS CONSTRUCTION LLC (a GAF Certified Weather Stopper Roofing Contractor at [redacted] D, [redacted] XXXXX) made the following misrepresentation that was relied on in the purchase of roofing services (Invoice No. [redacted], The roof warranty with GAF covers the ENTIRE roofing system. In the event that IF there needed to be a tear off for warranty work GAF would provide underlayment. for the GAF warrranty I only to need use 3 GAF products. Which I used all GAF products with the exception of the Rhino Liner which is the underliner my guys prefer to work with. So your covered you do not need to register a warranty with rhino liner becuase GAF will cover the whole roofing system..." When I told RODAS I was going to file a complaint to GAF for misrepresentation, RODAS responded:"After talking with [redacted] And reading your E-mails we Have decided court is the best solution we will be filing a civil Lawsuit against you tommorow whiat address would you like the papers sent to please advise us buy the close of bussiness today!!!!"Therefore, I inquired to GAF through the Revdex.com website, and GAF responded: "Rhino Liner is not a GAF product and would be excluded from warranty coverage." "I explained to [redacted] he could use my Revdex.com response to refute what he was told by Rodas." Furthermore, in a phone conversation with a top level GAF representative, it was stated that RODAS was only suppose to use GAF materials.Desired SettlementI request compensation for the loss of value arising from the misrepresentation, which I estimate to be at least $1,500. The loss of value can probably be proven in a court of law to be much greater.Business Response /[redacted]/This consumer is misunderstanding his warranty. Also, the warranty was added AFTER the contract. The liner is covered. (Documents attached.)Consumer Response /[redacted]/GAF who provides the warranty has stated in their Revdex.com complaint response that the GAF warranty will not cover the Rhino underliner. [redacted] Construction has threatened the consumerwith a lawsuit for making an inquiry, and has stated that the liner is covered under the warranty. Rodas is a GAF certified contractor, and there should be no discrepancy between the two companies. The two companies need to determine who is correct. Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)"Slander" is when you "say" something that is false about someone or a company. "Libel" is when you "write" something that is false about someone or a company. The requirement under the law is that the claim be knowingly false.Mr. [redacted] stated in the most recent response to the Revdex.com that "...Mr [redacted] making claims that he spoke with a GAF Representative which is false." In rebuttal, the name of the GAF representative who has officially and in writing stated on the Revdex.com website that the "Rhino Liner is not a GAF product and would be excluded from warranty coverage." and further stated "I explained to Mr. [redacted] he could use my Revdex.com response to refute what he was told by Rodas." is [redacted] a manager at GAF headquarters, and his phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. Mr. [redacted] also called me and told me that [redacted] was only supposed to be using GAF materials. The Revdex.com records and phone records will show that indeed written and oral communication took place between GAF and Mr. [redacted] over this issue.Mr. [redacted] stated in the most recent response to the Revdex.com that ..."The systems Plus warranty was given to him as a Courtesy." In rebuttal, on the contrary, there is nothing to indicate that the warranty was a courtesy, and the fact is that the warranty was the main selling point at the time of the sales pitch. The sales pitch materials presented at the time of the sales pitch are proof that the warranty was not a "courtesy", but rather the main selling point.Finally, the Revdex.com response from GAF clearly states that the warranty is not valid for the Rhino under liner that Rodas used, and the proof submitted by Rodas to the Revdex.com also indicates the same.In a show of good faith, [redacted] is willing to accept $1,000 from Rodas as compensation for the misrepresentation and the act of Rodas intentionally using a 10-year under liner on a roofing system that Rodas represented to be a lifetime warranty on the whole roofing system that included the under liner which GAF has stated it will not warrant. Final Business Response /[redacted] is Just trying to slander our company this would be the second time. His warranty is valid and backed buy GAF in the event there was an issue and GAF would use their version of Under Liner. There are no issues becuase there have been no leaks. he has never called on us for a service request. There is no Proof to show that warranty is Invalid other than Mr [redacted] making claims that he spoke with a GAF Representative which is false. Furthermore The systems Plus warranty was given to him as a Courtesy. The standard 5 Year warranty is what we give to all of our customers. The systems Plus warranty WAS NOT included on the contract signed buy Mr [redacted]. His roof was Installed Over a year ago and now he is Pretty much saying give me $1,500 and I will go away that`s what this really about he wants $1,500 and we are not going to give it to him there has been no issues with the roof. the warranty is valid and there has been NO LEAKS...If he ever had a Leak we would glady service it for him!!!! Very informative about what they were going to do and the materials used. Most importantly, BEST warranties and their price was not higher than the competition. They left no debris behind and the roof looks great and the day after we are getting pummeled with rain and wind....all dry! :) I can't recommend them enough, they did the job in just over a day for 34 square roof, amazing.
