places on the dash where controls for certain optional equipment would be if the equipment was installed on the vehicle.   The inoperative [redacted] button on [redacted]'s vehicle is such a control.  [redacted] was not misled by the inoperable radio button.  There was no representation that the equipment was included and he did not question the inoperable radio button until he had had the vehicle for six months.   The dealership has offered to sell [redacted] the upgraded radio at dealer cost, plus labor, but [redacted] has refused.  The dealership believes it has been more than fair with [redacted].  [redacted]General Counsel

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[redacted]        I talked with [redacted] the general manager on 1-3-1015, and was a complete waste of my time . For 15 minutes he talked about it was a Ford problem. I did offer him to meet him half way on the price , but did not answer me. He told me to buy an after market radio at one point .I asked him three times what is the bottom line was and he would not answer me. I told him this conversation was a waste of my time and that I would hang up, but conversation did not change . He did not say anything about my 10 conversations with his employee [redacted] who said he would do a trade off with another radio on another vehicle. And finally I did talk to [redacted] when I bought the car that I wanted to hook up  the satellite radio.

I purchased a [redacted] pickup from Rodeo Ford. This was after several months of looking for a specific type and color of truck. Found it here and reasonably priced. Scratches were discovered in the drivers side front door window glass during delivery of the truck. General sales manager [redacted] has a check mailed to me to cover the cost of the glass replacement with [redacted] glass. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend their dealership to friends and family. Thanks again.

Rodeo Fords take to long to fix cars. They take two days or more to do simple repairs, warranty work, or recalls. I am not only a former customer. I saw how the Service Manager, [redacted] would not do anything to help the customer(s) to get their repairs done. Many times parts would have to be ordered and the customer would have to come back several times. This might be why the dealership Customer Service Index is below 70% to Ford standards. All the technician have no since of urgency and to disregard the customer concerns. Many times the technician would recommend repairs that did not need to be done. I would encourage all customers to fill out their Ford Survey if you're not happy. You can also contact Ford direct at [redacted]. Keep in mind the Service Department Employee's get PAID off surveys! I hope this helps any future customers.
