Rodeway Inn and Suites Downtown/brickell

Reports of bed bugs. Cancellation fees extort customers. Hotel management was non-responsive.
I didn't agree to be charged at anytime for any amount by River Park Hotel and Suites without prior notice. The non-refundable/cancellation policy wasn't stated prior to booking my reservation but conveniently included in the "fine print" of the confirmation email of the reservation. I've been ignored and basically told to pay for a hotel that I will not be using by River Park Hotel and Suites management. I was not informed of the stated cancellation policy until after my reservation was already made. No customer should be forced to pay for services that are below standards. (see google reviews of guests reporting bed bugs and poor accommodations).

When I noted the reason for my cancellation the hotel refused to acknowledge the reports of bed bugs and repeated the cancellation policy back to me. I offered to even pay for 1 nights stay but hotel management would not respond to the staff at Booking.com which is the 3rd party vendor I used to book the River Park Hotel and Suites. I spoke to "***" the 1 person that handles the hotels entire reservations and she told me to speak to *** to resolve the matter but they referred me back to the hotel.

I will not be forced to pay for services that are poor quality and hotel management policies that extort money from it's customers.
