I was a victim of a minor disaster and the red cross was putting my family and I up until we could go back homeWe ended up here and shortly after arriving a friend came over to give us a ride, she asked if we had checked the beds, which we had not even thought to doLo and behold there were bedbugs, and the other occcupants of the duplex we live in found mouse poop in their room after we told them to look aroundAfter bringing this to the attention of managment and requesting a refund we were given a very hard time and accussed at one point of planting the mouse poopMy upstairs neighbors were told "what do you expect for fifty bucks?"

We had to stay at the Roadway Inn and Suites, W65th Street, Little Rock, AR that presents itself as a HILTON HONORS hotelThey did not provide me with a reservation #I don't have a port folio that is computer generatedIs it because they don't want to have to pay taxes on all the cash received that weekend due to the many rooms they had people staying in? The write up about this hotel is not at all what this hotel is in personWe had a tornado in Little Rock and I went to this hotel with my grandchildrenFirst I told the agent that I am disabled and needed a room downstairsHe told me I had a choice to take the one he offered upstairs or basically, he could give to the people who were in line behind meBecause we had no where else to stay due to the storm, I had to take this roomThe HILTON HONORS Agent said this hotel represented itself as newly renovatedWhen I finally made it up all the stairs and walked down the long walkway outside to get to the room, I wanted to lay on the bed, but the room smelled awfulWent to put drinks in the refrigerator and it was barely coolLooked in the sink, and someone had stuffed cigarette butts in the drain--appeared as though they had been there a whileTurn back the sheets on the bed, and the bedding was stained with blood spots! There was splatter of some substance on the walls leading into the bathroomThankful we took our own towels and pillows and blankets How awful of a place to stayThis should not be classified as a Hilton Honors HotelNot only that they put me on a floor that had lots of undesirable activity on that top floor which made me scared to go out after I got inLots of loud talking and arguing on that floorHow horrible a stayWe only stayed one night and chose to suffer in the heat at home until the power could be turned back on by the electric companyALSO, the agent didn't give me a receipt stating the register wasn't working but took my cash moneySunday I went back to see if they would give me an official receipt but only gave me a copy of the form that the agent completed the first night which didn't have the hotel logo on it or anything that said I had paid itThis piece of paper doesn't even have a reservation number or anything on itThe Agent on Sunday got irritated with me when I told him there was nothing on this piece of paper that said I paid in fullso he took his pencil and scribbled something on the paperWhat kind of operation is this? Horrible stay.NASTY!

October 15, 2017Dear [redacted],I am writing your good office in response to the customer complaint that we have received.To keep everything more organized, we identified and separated each issue and responded to them individually. Below are the issues followed by our responses. If you require...

any further assistance regarding these issues please reach out to me at ###-###-####.Complaint: "A reservation was made to attend a wedding. I was hospitalized with lung cancer and had left lung surgically removed. "Response: We here at Clarion New hope previously Rodeway Inn & Suites give discounted rate to all wedding parties. It is 18 to 20 % off from the best available rate. This is the courtesy we extend to wedding groups. Together with the discounted rate we also allow 24 hours' notice before arrival date for any cancellation. We understand that plans can change last minute and we here at Clarion in place a 24-hour cancellation policy so that we can accommodate all guests that would need the room specially on busy weekends since we are the only hotel that can accommodate huge wedding groups.Complaint:" My spouse did call on October 5th to cancel the October 8th reservation. She was advised it would be taken care of. I subsequently charged on October 9th as a "no Show". I called several times and they decided to let the charge stand."Response: There were no phone calls received to cancel the reservation. We have a log book that we maintain for all cancellations and there were no records of [redacted] calling on October 5th. All the front desk agents that receive calls are fully trained to handle cancellations request. When we cancel reservations we also send a cancellation notice via email. We deal with many cancellations and is very understanding that plans change and again this is a courtesy we give all our guests. We also expect in return that the guest would give us 24 hour notice so we can release the room and sell it back to other patrons.I attached the confirmation email that we send to each guest when making a reservation. It is clearly stipulated that 24 hours cancellation policy.Pls. call or email me if you need further assistance regarding this matter!

I am not showing this consumer's name in our system if the consumer could provide the last four numbers of the credit card they used we will look into this.

Review: Reservations at Rodeway Inn and Suites on July 11, 2014 in [redacted], PA was there for my Aunt's 90th Birthday. Traveled 10 hours from Michigan. Had early check in. Arrived at 6:50 A.M. to find the office closed. Called Nick and he indicated someone would be there within an hour or so. We were beat coming all the way for MI. Went for breakfast then came back. Checked in gave us a key to a room already assigned. Went back gave us another key for our room. Crashed for a few hours. When we woke up viewed the room. What a disgrace. I could not believe I paid $178.49. I have stayed at lower end hotels for a lot less and never like this. Ceiling drywall was cracked looked like it was sagging, curtains were on and off hooks, look liked they were going to fall off or just thrown up there. A burnt iron print on the floor. Went to shower and the hot water nozzel was broke. Went to hang my towel on the towel rack and it fell off the wall. Toilet seat was 1/2 broke. The water of the shower blew all over the floor. Went to call the office to check on WIFI and the phone base was there but no cords or hook up. Went to look at the pool and there were tree limbs, leaves and weeds in it. Ubelieveable. I have stayed at Rodeway Inn's before nothing like this. This place is ruining their reputation. So disappointed and a big waste of money. Checked out on the 12th called the office to advise of all of the above and that it was not our doing etc. Nick apologized and said I will take $40.00 off your bill, then he said $50.00. Mind you I never asked. Just advising of the situation. As of today, nothing has been adjusted. In addition, had [redacted] and provided my number to them at check in and they assured it would be adjusted. To this day, that has not been adjusted. I should be compensated for the entire bill as the room was not fit for customers to stay in and definately not for $178.49. Big rip off. In addition their website advertised "newly remolded and the pictures were deceiving."Desired Settlement: Want a complete refund. Definately feel we are entitled. The place was diplorable and a disgrace. Other owners of Rodeway Inn's should be contacting this establishment to save their reputation. P.S. Photos will be given upon request.
