Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:First of all the agent booking the room said we could have a king size bedIf it wasn't available we should have been told at the time of bookingSecondly, we got a room with double beds--not queenThird it was very late and we were undressed and in bed the first time we both got but by somethingFourth, the dogs being infested with mange mites, which are invisible to the naked eye, wasn't noticed until a few days later when they were full of sores and losing furWe incurred veterinary bills taking them for treatmentWe also didn't notice the terrible disrepair of the room until bit by bit as we settled inIf so many rooms were available, why were we given such a filthy, bug infested, poor condition, dirty sheets, dirty towel, room?! I will not stop disparaging your motel until at the very least you refund my charges, and you should never rent that room again until it is gutted and redone! We get the distinct feeling that you are blaming us for taking the roomWe were snookered by the agent on the phone, and were given a subpar roomIt is your fault for allowing that room to be booked to any customer! I am rejecting this response because:First of all the agent booking the room said we could have a king size bed. If it wasn't available we should have been told at the time of booking. Secondly, we got a room with 2 double beds--not queen. Third it was very late and we were undressed and in bed the first time we both got but by something. Fourth, the dogs being infested with mange mites, which are invisible to the naked eye, wasn't noticed until a few days later when they were full of sores and losing fur. We incurred veterinary bills taking them for treatment. We also didn't notice the terrible disrepair of the room until bit by bit as we settled in. and additional pet charge free of $15.00. The total including taxes and pet charges was $76.44. The charges were made on August 22nd, 2017. We knew that you wanted a King size bed, but we do not have any pet friendly rooms in the king size bed. We had requested you that we had two queen size beds available and you accepted. We understand that you were very unhappy with the condition of our room, but we had many room available that night. If you had made complaints to the front desk receptionist, we would have surely changed your room. Our occupancy rate for the night of August 22nd, 2017 was only 42%.
