I had the pleasure of working with Mary Jane R[redacted], an experienced and truly professional and reliable real estate agent, working with the Rodney Dunn Company. I have worked with other real estate agents in the past and found Mary Jane to be remarkable by comparison in several ways. She identifies what your primary needs are first, and she doesn't try to talk you into buying properties that you cannot afford. She gives the big picture of the city. She showed me areas in town with foundation problems so that I could learn what to avoid. She found properties in the area I was interested in, that I did not find on-line myself after hours of looking, several in fact, including the one I purchased in the end. She provides sheets for each property and encourages notes so that they do not all run together in your mind - which they tend to do when you see so many. Mary Jane found, and made available, a prior inspection record on the property I bid on, so that I could have it in hand when the property was inspected by Todd A[redacted] who is considered the "master" of home inspections by his younger competitors [their words to me]. Mr. A[redacted] is highly regarded in the community and I was unable to get an early inspection appointment on my own because he is in such high demand. Mary Jane made a call and they fit me in much earlier out of their respect for Mary Jane. Mr. A[redacted] told me that, in his opinion, Mary Jane R[redacted] is the best in the area out of over 200 real estate agents he has regular contact with. Mary Jane poured over Mr. A[redacted]'s inspection report, lined up quotes on the recommended repairs, and worked hard with the other agent to get the owner to make some concessions - it was an estate sale. Mary Jane orchestrated the many aspects of buying the house. Under her care and keeping, the funding of the mortgage and closing was absolutely smooth, on schedule, and held no surprises, financial or otherwise. How often does that happen?? Since close, Mary Jane has contacted me several times as follow-up to make sure all is well. She truly provided me with warm, personable, very professional and excellent service that I deeply appreciated. I highly recommend her - you won't be disappointed.
