Roesch Tree And Crane Reviews (%countItem)

Revdex.com phone complaint taken by Revdex.com staff : Consumer hired company to cut trees in their yard. When the company ran their equipment over the side walk it caused damage to the sidewalks. The tree stumps still need to be removed.

The company did not clean up properly and left one employee to clean up all the debris. Consumer had to help clean up.

Consumer tried calling the business and was told the owner would be back on the 20th. Consumer has indicated he has tried to resolve the issue with the business. Consumer is getting estimates for the repairs and is also considering possible action in small claims court but has not filed.

did not hire us. His father *** did. I told his father when I gave him the estimate that we had to drive the truck over the driveway or the sidewalk and that they may crack. I always tell the customer when we have to take a truck over concrete that it may crack, and that we do not repair it if it does. ***, his son did not hire me, nor did he write the check. His father did. I have reached out to his father and he agrees that I told him the possibility of the sidewalk cracking, and told me not worry about it, that he would talk to his son. As for the stump there is a part that was missed and I offered to grind it out but he told me if I wasn't going to fix the concrete to stay off his property. I'm not sure what his complaint with leaving one guy to clean up, we do many jobs a day, you don't make money by leaving the crane operator and climber and bucket truck all at one job to help rake up stump shavings, and no one asked him to help. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely

I do have power of attorney and I am able to speak on behalf of my father. I request that in future dealings, the business speaks with me and not my father. In the past, other contractors who have done tree work on my father's property were able to protect the sidewalk from damage by laying down plywood. I assumed this company would find a way to do the same thing but did not. My father did not know what he was agreeing to. I am still requesting to the business pay for the repairs to the damage their trucks caused to the section of the sidewalk on my father's property.

Regards

We have worked for his father multiple times over the last five years, we have used plywood mats at his place too, mats are for protecting soft ground, from ruts and keeping the trucks from getting stuck. Plywood wood is flexible, therefore does not distribute the weight of the truck, and does not keep concrete from cracking. His father has always been happy with our work and that is why he called me at least half a dozen times asking me when we were going to do his sons trees, he hired me, he paid me, he is the one you should be talking to. Before I did the trees for *** I had never talked to him or met him. They were his trees, he should have been talking to me about the job, not his father. Also it is worth noting that both *** and his father were there when we got there. Both of them watched us pull in and do the job, then would have been a good time to ask any questions or concerns, but thy did not. I had already stated clearly to his father that I would not be laying mats down because it was about 200 feet to the back trees, that is why we waited to do the job till the middle of summer, his father new all this, but his son did not, also I asked once for his number and his dad did not want me to talk to him because he did not want his son to know how much it was going to cost because the father was paying. Let me know if you have any questions.
