Initial Business Response /[redacted]/
Please see attached letter.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /[redacted]/
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Not surprisingly, the company in its response to my complaint continues its demeaning...

and unprofessional conduct. From accusing me of lying about having copies of contracts when I did not and of trying to capitalize on the firm's work without due compensation is slanderous. Printed copies of the CTM eContracts notice of "eContract Not Found - We could not locate this eContract in the system. Apparently this eContract has been deleted. Please contact your real estate agent and request a new email with the proper contract," Can be produced upon request. This was the message on screen when I tried to access the contracts on June 28th at which time I contacted the realtor requesting copies, and while the principal eventually responded to my emails she did not include copies of the requested contracts. I submitted this Revdex.com complaint on June 30th. The firm's principal had her attorney/husband forward copies of the requested contracts on July 1 having initially refused to provide them after the first two requests. The firm implies in its response that it located a property for us to purchase. In face, the firm did not locate the property - we did - and asked the firm to arrange a showing. With respect to the so-called demands we made of the seller, we were clear in a letter to the firm and seller that we were not demanding anything and that we understood our proposed resolution was aggressive. The seller did not accept our terms. When we terminate the contract she apparently had a change of heart and notified us the next day that she would accept our proposal after all. By then we'd terminated the contract and opted not to accept the seller's proposal - this was perfectly within our rights - legally we'd terminated the contract. It's unfortunate the firm was unable to have our proposal accepted in the first place. The firm implies it neglected other customers and work in order to complete work on our behalf. Our first contact with this firm was on May 25th. They showed us a total of two properties - both of which we found and requested showings on. We signed a contract with them to sell our home and 8 days later had to terminate the offer to purchase our home - based on one of the stipulated conditions not being met. It's unfortunate the firm seems to suggest it neglected its other customers and work over the course of the 10 days it acted as our Representatives and the fact that they would helps explain the unprofessional conduct toward us and less than satisfactory service provided. Finally, with respect to the alleged failure to provide facts supporting the breach of contract we outlined in this complaint and in a letter to the firm, we acted upon the advice of our attorney to wait for the firm's response to the Revdex.com complaint before taking further action and incurring the costs that would have been associated with taking immediate legal action. Now that the firm has agreed to cancel the contracts as we'd requested as a result of the Revdex.com complaint, it seems our attorney's advice was prudent. Of course, it's unfortunate the firm chose not to honor our request in the first place, necessitating the complaint. Most realtors will cancel contracts as a measure of good will - being of the opinion it doesn't make good business sense to hold a client 'hostage' when they are so obviously dissatisfied with the service. Beware, if you choose to work with this firm they will regard you, their client, as the enemy both while they negotiate contracts on your behalf and as you try to move on. We worked with he firm 10 days and can state in unequivocal terms, we will never work with traditional realtors again. The firm stood to gain more than $40,000.00 after having known us for 10 days. The deals did not work - both the buy and sell contracts we signed were legally terminated adhering to the conditions included in the contracts and drafted on our behalf by the firm. Initially, we assumed we would continue working with the firm, however they were angry when we chose to not proceed with the deals and abandoned us. As a final insult, the firm chose to accuse us of lying and conspiring to benefit from their work and not paying them. This is another example of the firm's hostile approach toward a home buye/seller. Whether we choose to sell our house 10'days or 10 years from now, we are grateful the firm has finally agreed to cancel our contracts with them.
