Horrible return policy! 20th century telephone and paper customer service approach. Customer has to pay $8 for returns. NEVER AGAIN will I order from Rogans!

Review: Rogan's employee(s) stated to me that when you buy one pair of shoes you get the next pair half price (of the lowest price purchased). I was told to keep the receipt and the receipt has no expiration date.

On 6/30/15 I purchased a pair of shoes from Rogan's and presented a valid receipt. I was told that this was not the "proper" receipt. I was told that I should have received two(2) receipts, one small and one large. I was informed the larger of the two receipts is the only receipt which can be used for this offer.

The receipt I presented was a valid Rogan receipt. It has their name printed on it with the date and the price paid. It obviously was created from their register. I do not remember being given a second receipt. I was never informed then, or since then to keep the "larger" receipt. I feel I presented valid proof of purchase. Rogan's does not disputre the fact that the receipt I presented represents a valid purchase. They refuse to honor their half price policy because I do not have the "larger" receipt.Desired Settlement: I feel that I am owed $30.00. I presented a valid receipt. It was not accepted even though they acknowledge that is is one of their recepts. These other stipulations were not related to me at the time of the original purchase.

As I stated on the phone, I personally contacted Mr. [redacted] to resolve the concern that he had. The receipt was approximately 7 years old and the customer refused to listen to any rational that would not ultimately give him what he wanted. I determined that sometimes there is no reasoning with some customers. PAT ROGAN

I bought a pair of Brooks last Saturday the 12th of Sept. from the Eau Claire store. I wore them one time only at the gym for a half hour and they hurt my feet terribly. I tried to return them today and the older lady there said they were pilled so she couldn't do anything. She also said the removable insoles were dirty and they were not. She is absolutely wrong. How can anything pill in 30 minutes and how insulting to say the insole was dirty. I put on a clean pair of white socks before I slipped my feet into these shoes. I will never set foot inside this store again and will advise all my friends that they are very customer unfriendly.
