We received Ms Fascenda's response, and It is full of lies, just as her original complaint! The pictures she supplied do not show the work that I did These pictures must have been taken prior to my work The picture showing a crack in the wall shows no paint in the crack, therefore showing it has not been painted yet Also the paint on door hinges were not done by me I am attaching some pictures to show that we removed all doors from frame along with all hinges & knobs, to avoid getting paint on the hardware This is the way we paint doors for all costumers There is a picture to show that we tarped all flooring prior to working I also have a picture of her damaged carpet that she said she was changing in the Spring, due to leaking roof.In conclusion, I did not do any of the work in the pictures *** *** has provided! I am not offering any money to be returned My work was completed, inspected by people, approved, and paid for in full *** *** was fully satisfied These claims are false, and fraudulent! Thank you for your help in this matter. Sincerely yours, Dean Rogan

Complaint: 1***I am rejecting this response because: I’ve read the egregious response, it contains gross exaggerations of the truth as well as completely unfounded statements. I’ve only spoke with Dean once after they left my house and that was after he received the Revdex.com complaintHe did not try to resolve the issues I presented, instead he accused me of consumer fraud and threatened me with a lawyerI tried to explain that entire sections of trim were missed and that the one coat of paint applied to my walls was not enough to cover the original paintHe argued, stating that they applied three coats of paint and that there must be something wrong with my wallsHe also tried to blame the issue on forced hot air which I do not have. I know that only one coat of paint was applied because Dean told me soDean commented that the color matched so well and the paint he purchased was of such high quality, only one coat was neededThis is the reason why I have so much paint left overThey purchased gallons of paint, the paint area is less than sq ftOne gallon of paint covers sq ftI have a gallon and a half left of paint.I didn’t notice there was a problem until the next day during full daylightI didn’t call immediately because it was Christmas eve, I had house guests into January and was on travel most of JanuaryI did call February 9th, less than days afterwards, then again on the 15th, 17th, and 19thAll efforts to reach Dean for resolution were ignored. As for the mess and sloppy paint job, Dean insisted on giving me a paint lessonHe proceeded to slop paint on the trim and I watched it splatter on the walls and floorWhen they arrived the second day of painting I informed them someone spilled paint on the first floor, they immediately responded that it couldn’t have been them because they are so careful. I’ve had the paint job inspected by two new contractors, they confirmed that only one coat of paint was appliedI am in the process of getting new estimates to complete the job that Rogan Built/Paradise Painters never finished. A quick response to some of the outrageous statements: The price was always $1,I put my furniture back to original placement after vacuuming and dustingMy carpeting is new, installed March 2014, it wasn’t being replaced and I didn’t appreciate having to cut the dried paint out of the fibersI am not in “financial ruin” has Dean makes me out to be and am not trying to take advantage of anyoneI’ve paid in full, every contractor that has worked on my houseI didn’t have the issues that were described in the responseThe only reason for my complaint is I paid a considerable amount of money to Rogan Built for a poorly executed and incomplete jobRogan Built is operating under an expired license (expired 2009) and there is no current license for Paradise Paint and Alterations. All the rhetoric aside, the simple truth is we signed a contract, defining a clear scope of work, for an agreed amountThat scope of work was not completedI have enclosed pictures as proof. Kind regards,***

This letter is to respond to a complaint filed on 4-7-2017, ID# [redacted], by [redacted].             [redacted] was given an estimate the weekend of 12-17/12-18 2016 to spackle,  prime, & paint some areas in her home for $2,500.00.  On...

12-20-2016 we agreed to discount our estimated cost to $1,800.00, to accommodate [redacted]'s budget & financial troubles from prior contractors.             All services were performed, and completed on 12-22/12-23 2016 in a professional manner.  All floors were tarped,  furniture moved, and tarped.  We speckled,  primed & painted 2 coats of paint on walls, doors, & moldings.   Pictures were taken of home prior to work performed to show home condition,  and precautions taken to keep home in good condition, this is a company policy.  Upon completion of work order [redacted], her boyfriend,  myself, my wife, and my son all walked through and examined work carefully.   All work was approved, and there were no concerns or complaints.  [redacted] paid for the services of my company in full, and was fully satisfied!              We received a phone call from [redacted] a day later to ask if we had left our jacket at her home.  I returned her call, and let her know it didn't belong to us, she said it may belong to someone else who worked there.  [redacted] never mentioned any problems, or issues with the work we performed at any time!  Please know that if there were any concerns, or complaints,  they would have been addressed & rectified immediately!   But there was never any dissatisfaction ever discussed!             February of 2017, 2 months later, we received a phone call from [redacted].  In [redacted]'s complaint she states that she tried to contact us and calls were ignored, and dismissed, that is a lie!  [redacted] spoke to my wife on the phone, and explained her new found issues & complaints.  [redacted] was reassured that all paint was given 2 coats, and the shadowing she is seeing on the wall may be coming from her sliding glass doors, and sun coming through casting shadows on her wall.  All work was inspected carefully by 5 people, approved, & paid for in full at the end of service.   As for her complaint of paint spills, and foot steps of paint that she states were done on both days of work, inside & out of her home, they just didn't exist!  Both days we worked we Never saw paint spills, or foot steps of paint!, and again [redacted] never pointed any out either!!  [redacted]'s home was left in perfect condition,  all furniture put back, dusted, and vacuumed up, so we would have definitely saw any paint spots!             As for the 50% refund [redacted] is seeking,  she explained in a phone call that I made to her to attempt resolution,  that she had to put down something!?  [redacted] said that the Revdex.com website requires consumers to want 50%, or more of their money back to be able to file a complaint!  She admits to filing a false amount, and in that case false claim, just to be able to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.              I feel strongly that [redacted] is committing consumer fraud, and theft through my business.   If there were any real issues, or complaints they would have been corrected immediately!   Instead [redacted] talks to us the day after work was completed and never mentions any problems,  only gratitude, then waits 2 months later to complain, and waits another 2 more months to lie and say we never spoke, then files a complaint with the Revdex.com, for an amount she admits was falsely given, now 4 months later!  [redacted] has told me that she, and her boyfriend have been finishing most of the work from Sandy storm on her home, and use contractors only when needed.  She has had numerous problems with contractors in the past.  [redacted] had problems with the roofer, and contractor who lifted her home, and as a result there was damage to her carpet.  Because of the damaged carpet she said not to worry about any further damage because she was installing new carpet in the Spring.  We still covered all carpets, and flooring because it is our company policy!  The contractor who did work before my company had a problem getting his last payment from [redacted], and actually had a fist fight with [redacted]'s father!  She seems to have a lot of trouble around her, therefore I will not go near her home.              I will include pictures to provide some insight on the measures we took, and precautions that were taken to keep her, and all our customer's homes, in the best possible condition.   I appreciate your time, and help with this matter.  I am not offering any money return to [redacted] because I feel her accusations are false, and she is making a desperate attempt to gain money for future projects to finish her home from the Sandy storm.             Sincerely, Dean R[redacted]DR/dr
