Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI DO NOT ACCEPT that "I sent the repairman on his way" after he told me the thermostat was not working at all He, ***, was talking to me on the phone, and when he didn't like my questions, HUNG UP ON ME AND LEFT THE PREMISES! On THAT rock, I stand! I NEVER "sent him on his way" IF my husband told him to replace the thermostat, it would have been a charge for the thermostat and minutes of labor ~ NOT hours while they tore the furnace apart again, did more duct work up on the roof and in the furnace space...only to be told the wasn't enough air in the home AND, when I was told the green light flashing meant a fuse had blown, and I stood there watching the green light flash days after installation...what else am I to think?
I will only pay for the $furnace, and a reasonable charge for the thermostat which was a basic *** thermostat and minutes of labor to install it Installing a thermostat does NOT require more hours of tearing apart a newly installed furnace and reworking all the duct work, to be told there wasn't enough air in the home!!! How incredibly ignorant!!! I will only pay the $furnace, thermostat & minutes of labor under protest because I have not been guaranteed the furnace needed replacing, nor the thermostat

In response to concerns we received from Mrs. [redacted]. On March 17th, we received a service call for a furnace that was making a loud noise. As soon as we were available that day we went to the address and started to diagnose the furnace. The blower motor was an obvious concern with this...

furnace. At this point we went and got the part we needed. Upon replacing the blower motor, we discovered another problem which wasn't apparent without the blower motor working properly. There also was an issue with the circuit board. At the time the problem was diagnosed it was the end of the day and our parts supplier was closed for the night. We supplied our customers with two electric space heaters to keep warmth in their mobile home until her heat was working correctly. The next morning we went  over the options with Mrs. [redacted] to repair or replace the furnace. The cost to repair the 14 year old furnace versus replacing the furnace were close in price. We gave the customer her options and discussed her concerns with the amount. Payment plans are not something our company usually does but due to the bitter cold temps this winter we worked arrangements out so they would not be without heat throughout the rest of the winter, and did not charge for the day of labor or to replace the blower motor. We then ordered the furnace that we had to wait for to come in. As soon as the furnace arrived we went and installed the furnace. The furnace is made to be installed in different directions for the in and out air to flow properly. We did flip the furnace as it is made to do. The old furnace was much larger then the new style furnace so more venting had to be done. This was done at no extra charge. Days after replacing the new furnace we received a call that the green light was flashing and the heat was not working properly, then another call that it had been reset and seemed to be fine. Later that night after all employees were home, we received a call from Mr [redacted] that we needed to go check it out. When we arrived, we discovered the thermostat was not working at all. Mrs. [redacted] stated it was not the thermostat and sent us on our way. Our employee then went back home.  We received another call from Mr [redacted] that he wanted us to go back and replace the thermostat. At that time we explained to Mr. [redacted] there would be an additional charge. The next morning we replaced the thermostat and it started to work. Later the green light was flashing and the customer called again. We were on another job and were going to go back as soon as we finished with the job, but instead wanted to get back to Mrs [redacted] as soon as possible, so we left the job we were on to get to her sooner, calling to let her know we would be there close to noon instead of 2pm. We again went back to make sure there was proper air flow and made some more adjustments to the air flow, which took care of the remaining issues. With all this said, we waited for the delivery of the furnace, did not leave any customers without heat, and went back every time there was an issue or possible issue until all was properly done. The only difference in price was for the thermostat. Which was mentioned to Mr [redacted] of a charge for that as previously stated. We feel she is responsible for the new thermostat and the time of going back and forth for that as we were sent away. In regards to the concerns about employee conduct, not being there I cant respond directly to the matter but have addressed the concerns with our employees.

Called electrician to my 1890 Colonial home to fix non-functional rooms. Showed them where the problems were, the electrician (business owner) was very responsive and had another contractor with him. He not only fixed the problems I'd pointed out but he pointed out additional problems and recommended fixes which he did. Attitude, knowledge, and workmanship were very professional, courteous.
