Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:it was, in fact, the transfer case that was leakingThe oil stain on my garage floor is the proof I took the vehicle to a second mechanicHe confirmed that it was the seal around the transfer caseHe resealed the transfer case, and there is now no leakNo more wet oily spot on my garage floor As to the other issue, I informed them about the tensioner when I dropped it offNo diagnostic was required, as they had previously identified the issueThe service adviser confirmed this to me at drop off.I maintain that the diagnostic charge should be refunded, because in short, it was incorrectThey tried to sell me parts/service that I did not require, instead of fixing the issue, even though I suggested it was a leaking transfer case The second mechanic confirmed this and fixed the issue Regards, [redacted]

Two months to respond to the complaints from writing directly to the company and never receiving a phone call or a written response, and the only way for them to respond was to make the complaints to the Revdex.com and the AGs office is not good business We have taken the vehicle to [redacted] [redacted] , [redacted] and an independent mechanic who all advised that radiator is new but hoses were not new Does Roger Williams have Pictures of the Parts that it removed and the parts it replaced with? Because I do have pictures of hoses on the vehicle to show proof the hoses were not changed out This matter is not resolved and I am still seeking reimbursement of the bill and to be able to bring my vehicle to another repair center other than Roger Williams to get my vehicle fixed properly

They have never reached out to us to accept responsibility of their shoddy work Nor have they ever apologized for the problems we have had with our vehicle They failed to fix the issue, which is why we brought it back in the first place only to be lied to by their service advisors, the vehicle runs hotter now than it did before we brought it to the dealership I have not been able to drive the vehicle since April The only reason I brought my vehicle there in the first place is because of the warranty we purchased I am going to have to pay someone else to fix the overheating problem If Roger Williams fails to make this right, then I will seek an attorney and resolve it court

Customer came in on 11/21/with concerns1) Front Transfer Case is leaking - We found that the Transfer Case was not leaking but the grease that was coming out was from the CV Joint on the driveshaft at the transfer case was torn and and had play indicating failure in the jointWe
recommended replacing the driveshaftWe did not charge for this check out.2nd concern seatbelt light is on - we ran through the systems and found that the drivers pretensioner had failed and needs to be replacedTech ran through diag tree to find what the problem was then the tech ran voltage test to make sure that the seat belt light is due to the pretensioner. There were diagnostic preformed and we only charged for the seatbelt because the tech did not just run a code, he did test to find if it what sensor caused the light and what the failure was - drivers pretensioner failed

Dealership is regretful that you feel this way and unfortunately isn't able to assist you any further

They have never reached out to us to accept responsibility of their shoddy work.  Nor have they ever apologized for the problems we have had with our vehicle.  They failed to fix the issue, which is why we brought it back in the first place only to be lied to by their service advisors, the vehicle runs hotter now than it did before we brought it to the dealership.  I have not been able to drive the vehicle since April.   The only reason I brought my vehicle there in the first place is because of the warranty we purchased.   I am going to have to pay someone else to fix the overheating problem.   If Roger Williams fails to make this right, then I will seek an attorney and resolve it court.

I am rejecting this response because:it was, in fact, the transfer case that was leaking. The oil stain on my garage floor is the proof.  I took the vehicle to a second mechanic. He confirmed that it was the seal around the transfer case. He resealed the transfer case, and there is now no leak. No more wet oily spot on my garage floor.  As to the other issue, I informed them about the tensioner when I dropped it off. No diagnostic was required, as they had previously identified the issue. The service adviser confirmed this to me at drop off.I maintain that the diagnostic charge should be refunded, because in short, it was incorrect. They tried to sell me parts/service that I did not require, instead of fixing the issue, even though I suggested it was a leaking transfer case.  The second mechanic confirmed this and fixed the issue.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  Could you please assist me in getting this settlement from the business in writing so that I have something to present to them when I go to get my oil changed that says I am still owed three oil changes?

Two months to respond to the complaints from writing directly to the company and never receiving a phone call or a written response, and the only way for them to respond was to make the complaints to the Revdex.com and the AGs office is not good business.  We have taken the vehicle to [redacted]  [redacted], [redacted] and an independent mechanic who all advised that radiator is new but hoses were not new.   Does Roger Williams have Pictures of the Parts that it removed and the parts it replaced with?  Because I do have pictures of hoses on the vehicle to show proof the hoses were not changed out.    This matter is not resolved and I am still seeking reimbursement of the bill and to be able to bring my vehicle to another repair center other than Roger Williams to get my vehicle fixed properly.

After several attempts to work with customer, listening to customer accuse the dealership of not doing anything to his vehicle, letters from customer stating that he had vehicle checked by other repairs facilities to attest that no work was done and radiator was not new. Now the customer has another letter stating that they retract what he said before and admitted the radiator was new and but the hoses are not. We stand firm that hoses were replaced along with the radiator. He asked for his money back but admits that a new radiator was installed. As for his question regarding photos of the work we do not make it a practice to take photos prior to working on a vehicle as I'm sure most repair facilities don't either. We are declining Mr. [redacted]'s request.
