In the matter of [redacted] statingMt Helix has not attended to any of her maintenance Issues: Please see attached photos in regards to the ceiling caving in the bathroomThe ceiling is not caving, Ms [redacted] is seeing the caulk work for the previous repairs done to the ceiling on 8/18/Our office has sent a technician out to treat/clean the mold under the cabinets in the kitchen Our office has repeatedly tried to contact Ms [redacted] to schedule an appointment to make said repairs on the unit, hut have been unsuccessful in reaching her and she has not returned any calls to the office on thismatter Sincerely, Mt Helix Property Management

In response to the matter of *** *** vs Mt HelixLETTER-SPACING: 0.2pt'>Ms*** placed a hold on the property located at *** *** Indianapolis, In On 2/12/with a scheduled move in date of 2/26/During this time, it was discovered by our maintenance team that there was a leak on the property and a licensed plumber would need to be called to assess the damagesDue to this, Ms*** move in date was moved to 3/1/After an assessment from our plumber, Just Drains, it was discovered that the leak was more extensive than originally thought and would need complete reconstruction of the pipes throughout the propertyThis was explained to Ms*** and every effort was made to find a new property suitable to her specific needsUnfortunately, we were not able to find a property that was suitable for Ms*** and she cancelled her hold with our company
A letter was sent to our corporate office in San Diego explaining the situation and processing of Ms*** $refund has begunPer policy, it can take up to days for a refund to be processed and our office has assured Ms*** that she will in fact be receiving a refund of the hold fee she placed in our office

In the matter of *** *** stating Mt Helix has not attended to any of her maintenance issues:
0pt">Tenant moved in on 5/1/Walk through paperwork was submitted on 5/11/Our maintenance staff began repairs on the unit and Gold Seal Pest Control was sent out to assess for possible terminatesNo evidence of termites was foundAll work was completed on the unit in September 2015, due to the need to order windows and a few other parts necessary to complete the work on the unitBefore work could be completed on the window, Ms*** called our office stating that the window had shattered and a piece of glass had cut her child's handOur office immediately dispatched a technician to board the window and make sure that we had the correct measurements to replace the window as it was a special order due to the sizeIn October 2015, a complaint was called into our office for a leak in the basementOur office again sent a technician to clear the drains and work order was completed on 10/26/At that time, Ms*** was under eviction for nonpayment of rentMs*** called the office upset that she was in eviction and stated that she was going to call Revdex.com and get all of her money backShe then came in and paid her balance allowing her to stay in the unitAt this current time, 1/21/16, Ms*** is again up for eviction due to nonpayment having 11/20/being the last time any payments have been received from her

My husband previously did work for this company, at the time that's when they stated they had a house for rent that we would like he signed the lease we moved in, since then we had continuously leaks in the bedroom our daughters couldn't stay in due to the mold issue, my infant was in and out of the hospital due to breathing issues, contacted mt helix on numerous occasions came out tried patching it, and never gotten fixed, so Doris and Joanie adv me I could make a day notice to vacate and end my lease early due to all of these issues, keep in mind they still owe us of back pay from two rental properties that we currently have liens on due to non payment, I spoke with a gentleman today and was very rude adv me I owed about in clean out fees and what not I stated I would come and get a break down due to me not receiving one within days which is stated on their websiteContinuously hung up on me and stated if I come there I will be thrown out, how can you try to just that your going to put this on someone's credit and not supply them with paperwork, and you weren't even there at these times so how can you be so rude to someone that worked with them for years and now every time I call you hang up on me, I'm pretty sure this place went bankrupt thats why they have no other worker's there, save your time never rent from this place!!!

0pt">Tenant moved in on 5/8/Walk through paperwork was submitted on 5/12/Our maintenance staff began repairs on the unit and all work has been completed except the masonry work on the front steps as the weather has not permitted us to do soWe have the steps scheduled for repairs this April once weather permitsTenant has stated that they are happy with their unit

Moved to Indiana with this company only to be bait andsswitched from a bedroom in a rural neighborhood rancher to a bedroom house in the city with septic issues, after months of complaining we looked at numorus other houses and was interested in of them on seperate occasions, only to be told they had such severe issues they were unable to get them ready When we found one and were told it would be ready in less then a month we moved in only to get reached out to by the Health Department to say the house was unlivable including lead paint and asspestoseThey refused to fix the house and evicted us due to their neglagants This is a horrible company that takes advantage of low income families

'Tahoma", sans-serif LETTER-SPACING: 0.45pt'>Tenant moved in on 11/7/Tenant called the office ad stated that there was a gap in the window and furnace was not hooked upOur office dispatched a licensed electrician (Rick ***) to the property and furnace was completed on 11/19/Window was repaired by our office techniciansIn December 2014, tenant called stating that there was a leak in his basementOnce again a technician was dispatched and the leak was repairedAll work orders placed by the tenant were completed and a new refrigerator was supplied to Mr*** at no cost to himMr*** had never spoken to the Property Manager in regards to these complaints and would still be in the unit if not for an act of nature (Tree falling on unit during storm) causing us to relocate him and his wife to another of our propertiesSince transferring to the new unit, only work order has been placed with our office and has since been completedMr*** states he loves his new unit and he and his wife are very happy
