Rogers & Son Lawncare & Landscaping

Review: It started in October 2012. This was a estate and I lived on the estate. The estate was settled last week. My attorney advised me to get a estimate on a mowing service in the area because I have been mowing the 5 acres for the last 3 years. I called Rogers & Son and the son came out and looked around and gave me a estimate of $150.00 per week. A few weeks went by and I never rcvd anything in the mail in writing of the estimate. I called and advised of this and then rcvd the estimate in the mail and on the agreement it states" if you accept this agreement, please sign and return" Please keep in mind that I am not the excuter of the land. I have the copy of the agreement still all in tact with no signatures. Fast forward to Tuesday April, 09 2013 around 10am there were 2 men mowing the lawn. I figured since my older brother bought the land that he hired someone to mow the property awhile. I am not talking to my brother. The son came to my door and asked me where all he should mow. I advised him since I did not order the service. and advised him where to mow. he came back to my door when they were done and ask me where the bill should go to. I advised my older brother since I would be moving out and he was moving in. I gave the son his number. a couple of days later my attorney called me and wanted to know why they were calling my older brother harrasing him to pay up. I called and spoke with [redacted] on April, 12 2013 and advised him that nobody gave him permission to come out and mow. He advised me that he has a contract signed and dated from me. I advised no. I have the copies. He would not let me talk. he hung up on me and then called back and advised me he was going to hold up the estate. I then hung up on him. My attorney called me a few days later and advised me that he was reporting my older brother for services not paid. Nobody ever called to inform they were coming out to mow and [redacted] stated that when you call them for a estimate that you are obligated to pay for the serviceDesired Settlement: I don't want him calling anyone and no bill is to be paid because no contract was ever signed and I can prove this. I would like this to be known to the public since he is advertising that he is a member of the Revdex.com. I don't feel this is a way to conduct business. You don't just show up and start mowing somebody's land without a contract being signed. Please also keep in mind that there has been no communication with the business since I called and ask for the estimate in oct.

We have not sent a bill nor are we sending a bill for the mowing that my guy's did at [redacted]. I did not hang up on [redacted] the call was dropped from going through a bad cell service area. I immediately called [redacted] back and he in turn hung up on me.
