Rogue Valley Door Reviews (1)

*** ***
We received the complaint filed by the Revdex.com on 7/24/2017. We have reached out to our customer in this situation to get a little more feedback, as we are unaware that the customer was not satisfied. Mr*** has some key facts missing and/or incorrect from
his claim. Here are the facts about this job:-Rogue Valley Door is the manufacture of the walnut doors, side lights, and astrigalRogue Valley Door order number ***-Rogue Valley Door manufactured these doors in July of 2016, and shipped them on August 12, 2016-Rogue Valley Door shipped the doors to one of our distributor in California, Kelleher Corporation-Kelleher Corporation sold and delivered the doors to the dealer, Pacific Door Craft. Kelleher po number ***-Kelleher Corporation went to the job site and inspected the doors with the Pacific Door Craft -Kelleher Corporation inspected the job site on March 8, 2017, months after the doors were shipped, not months.-Rogue Valley Door reviewed the complaint with Kelleher Corporation on March 9, and determined it was water damage, but agreed to replace the doors anyways.-Rogue Valley Door representative has never been to the job.-Rogue Valley Door invoiced Kelleher Corporation $2,for two doors, side lights, and one astragal, nothing more.-Rogue Valley Door did not provide the jambs, sills, sweep, hinges, door knob, weather strip, hinge pockets, bore for lock set, or assembly of the unit-Rogue Valley Door did not pre-finish the door-Rogue Valley Door did not install the doorRogue Valley Door has provided a limited portion of the components that goes into making a door unit. Kelleher, Pacific Door Craft, Ultimate Kitchen Finish, and the contractor that installed the doors have all provided key components or services that are needed to complete this door unit. The doors have water damage on the bottom rail, that has caused the veneer to fail. The water getting on the door could be caused by rain, a sprinkler, or by hosing of the front porch. The water causing the veneer to buckle could be a pre-finish failure, a poor application of pre-finish or a gluing issue. When all four of the doors and side lights fail, it tells us that there is something that has happened at the job site that has caused the doors to fail, since these components are glued up in separate processes. We still agreed to honor our warranty since we wanted the customer to be satisfied, even though there was a case to deny the claim. Our written warranty states the following:WARRANTY CLAIM AND LIMITATIONSIn the event of a defect or failure to conform with this warranty, upon written notice to Rogue Valley Door, the company, at its option, will (1) repair the door without charge, or (2) provide a replacement door without charge in the same stage of fitting and finish as was originally purchased from Rogue Valley DoorRogue Valley Door will not be liable for any door repaired or replaced without their prior written consentRogue Valley Door shall not be liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damagesSome states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions of limitation may not apply to youAll implied warranties are limited to (one year from the date of shipment from the factory of Rogue Valley Door for exterior and fire doors, five years on Rogue Premium doors and insulated glass units, and ten years on interior doors)This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. As you can see from our warranty above, we agreed to provide replacement doors, side lights, and astragal without charge in the same stage of fitting and finish was was originally purchased from Rogue Valley Door. Rogue Valley Door has fulfilled its obligation in this case. Kelleher, Pacific Door Craft, Ultimate Kitchen Finish, and the contractor have failed to contribute to the resolution, and all of them are just as likely to have caused the issue as Rogue Valley Door. Mr*** should direct his focus on the other parties involved in the supply chain. Let us know if we can be of any further assistance. Thanks Rian Y***
