MrP [redacted] is a blatant liar He was not even there the day this occurred so he is getting his information second hand from the very same employee that caused the problem We most certainly did ask for the price and told the man in the service department (a big guy that wore a cowboy hat) to call us should the service exceed $ That is why we were shocked and upset when handed a bill for nearly $ When we questioned the price and why no one had called us, the employees at the front counter went back to the service department and retrieved the same man in the cowboy hat His response was “I’m sorry, I thought someone called you with a quote” to which we replied “no no one called us about the price or to tell us the tractor was done” That was when he “offered” to take hour of service off the total bill MrP [redacted] was not there We only spoke to him one time, the next day and that was because we called because of the fact that the warranty work had not been done and corrected as we had been told it had been We found that out when we backed the tractor off the trailer and the fuel was STILL pouring from the undercarriage When we spoke to MrP [redacted] the next day he justified his service department not giving us the quote as requested by telling us that he was at the dentists office when all this happened and his dentist doesn’t give him a quote for the work he performs, that’s just the way things are done” My reply was “that’s your stupidity and what does that have to do with this situation” It was at that point that he became frustrated and hung up on his demonstration the level of maturity and professionalism that both he and his business lack completely In addition, as stated before, RVFE performed and billed for services that are not a part of the hour maintenance plan (ie, engine oil change, filters, etc) Lastly Rogue Valley Farm Equipment did not make the warranty repairs that they claim they performed when they charged us nearly $for other services (hour maintenance) A Mahindra representative was sent from Portland Oregon (hours away) to conduct the service on site The day we were notified by RVFE the sent us an email to say that he was there and ready to come to our home Unfortunately because there had been no prior notice we were not home or available The representative had to come by a few days later as he passed back through the area According to him RVFE was supposed to have made an appointment with us, knowing he was coming and they failed to do so Signed: The [redacted] ’s

Dear [redacted],
This letter is regarding case #[redacted]-[redacted] that was filed with you regarding services performed by us.
I was, in fact, present and the one that actually made the appointment as requested for the service and repair and theday the referenced equipment was dropped off, later than scheduled, the morning of their appointment at our business.I was only not there in the afternoon when they picked their equipment up.
Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] were only charged for work done to complete a SO hour service on their tractor as requested bythem when they scheduled their appointment. This first service is required by Mahindra to va lidate the warrantyrequirements. Their tractor had 81 hours run time when dropped off. They were not charged for the fuel line leak repa iras they are stating that they were. I have attached a copy of the actual job card as well as the invoice showing that wetook one hour of labor off of their bill in an effort to make them happy. The warranty repairs she is claiming were neveraddressed were repaired at the time the tractor was in our shop. At a later date, our Regional Service Manager visitedthe [redacted]s at their home and determined that there was an additional fuel leak from a different fuel line that wasalso covered under warranty and repaired at no charge. At no time did we refuse services to the [redacted]s in effort toresolve this situation.
We have been in business for 35 years. We have been a Mahindra tractor dealer since 2004 and at no time has a SO hourservice been $200 or less. Had they stated that they were expecting the service to be approximately that amount, wewould have immediately let them know that would not be the case. When a quote is requested by a customer, ourpolicy is to give it in writing for future references.
Thank you so much for your time in this matter. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Mr. P[redacted] is a blatant liar.  He was not even there the day this occurred so he is getting his information second hand from the very same employee that caused the problem.   We most certainly did ask for the price and told the man in the service department (a big guy that wore a cowboy hat) to call us should the service exceed $200.  That is why we were shocked and upset when handed a bill for nearly $800.  When we questioned the price and why no one had called us, the employees at the front counter went back to the service department and retrieved the same man in the cowboy hat.  His response was “I’m sorry, I thought someone called you with a quote” to which we replied “no no one called us about the price or to tell us the tractor was done”.   That was when he “offered” to take 1 hour of service off the total bill.
Mr. P[redacted] was not there.  We only spoke to him one time, the next day and that was because we called because of the fact that the warranty work had not been done and corrected as we had been told it had been.  We found that out when we backed the tractor off the trailer and the fuel was STILL pouring from the undercarriage.  When we spoke to Mr. P[redacted] the next day he justified his service department not giving us the quote as requested by telling us that he was at the dentists office when all this happened and his dentist doesn’t give him a quote for the work he performs, that’s just the way things are done”.  My reply was “that’s your stupidity and what does that have to do with this situation”.  It was at that point that he became frustrated and hung up on his demonstration the level of maturity and professionalism that both he and his business lack completely.
In addition, as stated before, RVFE performed and billed for services that are not a part of the 50 hour maintenance plan (ie, engine oil change, filters, etc)
Lastly Rogue Valley Farm Equipment did not make the warranty repairs that they claim they performed when they charged us nearly $800 for other services (50 hour maintenance).  A Mahindra representative was sent from Portland Oregon (6 hours away) to conduct the service on site.  The day we were notified by RVFE the sent us an email to say that he was there and ready to come to our home.  Unfortunately because there had been no prior notice we were not home or available.  The representative had to come by a few days later as he passed back through the area.  According to him RVFE was supposed to have made an appointment with us, knowing he was coming and they failed to do so.
