I have seen Mr. [redacted] account of what he asked us for origianlly and what he is now asking us to do for him. The part that has been left out is as follows:
 
Our Warranty on textile jackets runs for 1 year from date of purchase by the end consumer. That warranty is replacement for any defects within 90 days and repair of that garment for the remainder of the 1 year period (again from date of consumer purchase).
 
The jacket Mr. [redacted] is having issues with was released for sale in late 2011 and has been closed out of our inventory more than a year ago.
 
Both [redacted] (Operations Manager) and [redacted] (Customer Service) asked Mr. [redacted] for proof of purchase for the above mentioned jacket and he could not/ would not provide that, therefore we could not initiate a warranty claim on our end as we could not determine whether the jacket was actually under warranty.
 
More than a few emails were sent back and forth between our company to Mr. [redacted] in which we discussed how the jacket could be fixed but that was not what the customer was interested in hearing.
 
We are happy to stand behind our products if the criteria of the warranty can be met, and often will work with customers outside of that period when reasonable.

Review: I purchased a jacket from this company less than a year ago. The zipper on the jacket broke and fell off. I contacted a representative about the situation to have the jacket covered under warranty. I told her the timeline of when the jacket became dysfunctional and she refused to honor the warranty. I'm now left with a jacket I can't use.Desired Settlement: I paid $260 for this jacket and would like a refund. I don't want another jacket because I am unsatisfied with the quality of the product. Given the refusal to honor the warranty, I do not want to risk having another jacket break and then being refused to have it fixed or exchanged.
