I have already submitted a formal letter expressing concerns about the ethical and integrity issues outside of the grade grievance process The dean has not responded to the letter I am seeking a remedy through the use of this intermediary because the professor in question has applied a different standard to grading my work Moreover, she has falsified documentation regarding the grading process I now have evidence that at least one of the deans was aware of the falsified documentation that the professor created and helped to use that documentation as a basis for not grading my work in a manner that is consistent with what is outlined in the syllabus The response by the business is unacceptable because they have had an opportunity to bring a remedy through the grade appeal process and through my correspondance with the dean They have failed to bring a remedy and have taken steps to retaliate against me for expressing concerns I am still seeking a remedy that will end all acts of retaliation by the dean as well as having my degree conferred for spring or summer

Due to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Arizona State University is unable to comment on specific details regarding a student’s educational recordsFor students appealing a grade, Arizona State University’s University Policy for Student Appeal Procedures on Grades may
serve as guidanceStudents with concerns regarding ethical and integrity issues outside of the grade grievance process may submit their concerns in writing, with supporting documentation and details, to the dean of their collegeMs*** may contact Nancy K*** at ###-###-#### or *** for assistance

The former student has been contacted directly by the Dean of Students Office and a resolution has been reached. If Ms. S[redacted] has further questions she may contact Kaylen C[redacted] in the Dean of Students Office.

As ASU has acknowedged, neither SP313 classes were taken, no value received by me.  Spa 202 was NOT completed, I stopped attending the sessions and did not turn in the paper that was required. It is disingenuous for ASU to be declaring SPA202 was completed.  I guess being disingenuous is nothing new to ASU.The SPA202 class was a total joke and completely lost sight of being Spanish instruction.  The instructor seemed more interested in philosophy.  That class was paid in full despite my getting zero value from it.  If ASU wants to settle this with my not filing for a refund for Spa 202 and their clearing the bogus balance for the classes I did not take, I would do that only because I need to tend to my Mom being in hospice and not dealing with harassment from ASU.  I do believe I am owed a refund from SPA202.  If my credit score gets impacted, my offer to settle is immediately withdrawn and I will sue for the SPA202 tuition, for the damages to my credit score and for harassment.  There is plenty of public feedback that shows I am not alone in dealing with billing irregularities and terrible online classes with ASU.  I am fine with allowing the Revdex.com to make the details of this case publicly available so others can be forewarned.

Upon researching the situation it was determined the student did complete one class (SPA 202) during summer 2017.  A second class (SPA 313) was enrolled in by the student using her username for the same summer session.  Blackboard records show the student did access the class on the first...

day of the session but did not log in after that point in time.  Records show the student did enroll herself in the SPA 313 class for the fall 2017 semester at a later date but never accessed the course.  An Online success coach did reach out to the student several times but received no response.Registering for a class does incur financial responsibility regardless if a student attends or not.  As it is past the course or session withdrawal deadlines, Ms. [redacted] may contact the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences if she wishes to pursue a medical/compassionate withdrawal:  https://clas.asu.edu/resources/medical-withdrawal.

This is the first time we have been made aware of this complaint.  The situation will be researched and a follow up response will be submitted.

As previously indicated, Ms. [redacted] has the option of contacting Nancy K[redacted] or 602-496-2278 to further discuss the situation. This is the recommended course of action for reaching a resolution.

This e-mail didn't include a resolution and it's requiring me to either accept or decline the businesses resolution. I am going to choose decline since there hasn't been a resolution to this issue yet.
