Upon researching the situation it was determined the student did complete one class (SPA 202) during summer A second class (SPA 313) was enrolled in by the student using her username for the same summer session Blackboard records show the student did access the class on the first day of the session but did not log in after that point in time Records show the student did enroll herself in the SPA class for the fall semester at a later date but never accessed the course An Online success coach did reach out to the student several times but received no response.Registering for a class does incur financial responsibility regardless if a student attends or not As it is past the course or session withdrawal deadlines, Ms [redacted] may contact the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences if she wishes to pursue a medical/compassionate withdrawal: https://clas.asu.edu/resources/medical-withdrawal
This e-mail didn't include a resolution and it's requiring me to either accept or decline the businesses resolutionI am going to choose decline since there hasn't been a resolution to this issue yet
