[redacted] is requesting a refund for a makeup trial that not only did she like, but agreed to have me do her makeup for her wedding Her complaint and refund request is entirely invalid, as my son was not "running amuck" nor does that have any value or validity in the services that she was provided In fact, I also did a hair trial, which she wasn't happy with, so I did not charge her for it, although I should have I have one additional screenshot of our conversation, where she agreed to hire me, but I can't load it in this message I will try to do so in the next Furthermore, [redacted] told me during our meeting that she talked her venue into offering her a lower price than their going rate Also, before we met, she sent me an email asking if we waive or discount trial pricesIt seems that [redacted] is clearly wanting a refund for a service that she agreed to pay for before we met After leaving me negative back to back reviews on The Knot, where I attract most of my business, I will be looking into options for my protection as a business ownerThank you

[redacted] left happy with the makeup trial, which is what she was charged for She was not charged for the hair trial, which has already been previously stated [redacted] made no mention during our time together that she was uncomfortable In fact, we were laughing and having regular conversation If she at any time felt uncomfortable, she should have let me knowMy son's father showing up at the very end of the trial has no bearing in how the trial went My son's father walked in as [redacted] was walking out Regardless, his presence has no weight in regards of a refund As [redacted] said earlier, a trial and the price is charged in regards to the bride's happiness with the service she received[redacted] had agreed to come to my home She should have been aware that we weren't in a professional location and that "life" things happen I offered to come to her home for the trial, which she declined If she knew that there were variables of her being uncomfortable in someone's home, she should have communicated that Lastly, my company has moved to a beautiful, professional new space for meetings and trials with our brides While this doesn't help [redacted] 's experience, it will help alleviate any possible chances of this happening in the futureI am attaching the last file from the texts she and I exchanged that I couldn't attach in my previous response

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Why
was it my responsibility to say when I am uncomfortable? Besides it
wasn't until her ex showed up that caused her to give me attitude, and at
that point I felt uncomfortable. From my experience either
not at home, ie in the car or there is a true babysitter. I am sorry but
I have never heard of someone say that a [redacted] is their
babysitter. As far as me agreeing to come
to [redacted]'s home there was no full disclosure to say that there factors
I should be aware of, who thinks that someone is going to have a child
unsupervised during one's appointment. [redacted] even said at one point
that she wondered if her son was aware of how loud he was being. After I
say that to others in my circle they laugh and say that is when you be
the parent, of course if [redacted] had gotten a true babysitter then there
wouldn't have been an issue. You did offer to come to my place and
knowing it was in a complete mess due to having a garage sale the next
day and that I would be charged for her travel expenses I agreed. Again
had I had full disclosure that would not have been an issue, not knowing
that there was going to be an unsupervised kid in the house.I
am glad no one else I will have to live with [redacted]'s "Life happens"
moments, but as [redacted] needs to realize that as she said it doesn't
help this situation. If you are going to attach a message, why not attach the full message that shows how abusive you were to your client.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
