I am rejecting this response because: I have never claimed that I did not consent to the freonThe ONLY reason I consented was due to the fact that the technician told me that my system was low on freon and recommended adding someThis was even after he had said that a reading of 70-was and my system was reading When I questioned him as to why it needed more freon if it was reading 70, he told me that since it was on the "low side" more freon would helpHe never tested the capacitor or even looked at anything else on my a/c systemSo trusting the professionals opinion, I told him that if he believed that more freon was the issue that he could go ahead and add moreWhile he was filling my system with freon, the compressor stopped working and that is when he discovered that the issue was with the compressor, not a lack of freonMy system did NOT need freon! It is my opinion that the technician only suggested freon so that he could charge me for something besides the service callAfter waiting days for Rollin Air to submit an authorization to AHS for the repair of the compressor, I was informed by AHS that they still hadn't done itSo I called a competent, reputable A/C contractor on Tuesday, 7/and he came out that same day, tested my freon and said that my system was OVERCHARGED When I explained that Rollin Air had just been there on Friday, 7/and had ADDED a lb of freon, he stated that there was no way that my system was in need of freon just a few days prior and he had to REMOVE the excess freon!!!! Again, I believe that the technician only suggested freon in order to increase the charges. Also, the technician told me that I had to pay the $copay AND the $for the freonSo I wrote him a check for the total of $ However, AHS collects the copay directly from the customer and Rollin Air knows that!!! They should have never collected the $copay Now for the past days I have been attempting to get my $copay refunded to me I have called and left multiple messages every day since 7/and none of the office staff will respond to my request I am requesting a refund of the $for freon also because I do not believe my system ever needed any freonI believe that Rollin Air was just padding their bill to make more money and I have the opinion of a competent professional that substantiates that opinion. *** ***

On July 7th, we serviced this customeron our visit to the property, my technician did testing on their unit and when doing testing the unit indicated it needed (LBS) of freon added? At that time we let the customer know (prior to adding the freon) that we charge $per pound for freonin
that case the customer only needed (LBS) therefore the cost charged to the customer would be $After our technician explained to the customer how much it would be to add (LBS) of freon, she consented to the cost and my technician moved forward with adding (LBS) of freon to the unit, as she agreed toWe will not refund the customer $for the freon cost that she agreed to, prior to adding it to her unitWe ? have a signed invoice approving any and all cost due at the time of the service.Thank you and have a wonderful day.?

I am rejecting this response because: I have never claimed that I did not consent to the freon. The ONLY reason I consented was due to the fact that the technician told me that my system was low on freon and recommended adding some. This was even after he had said that a reading of 70-75 was normal and my system was reading 70.  When I questioned him as to why it needed more freon if it was reading 70, he told me that since it was on the "low side" more freon would help. He never tested the capacitor or even looked at anything else on my a/c system. So trusting the professionals opinion, I told him that if he believed that more freon was the issue that he could go ahead and add more. While he was filling my system with freon, the compressor stopped working and that is when he discovered that the issue was with the compressor, not a lack of freon. My system did NOT need freon!  It is my opinion that the technician only suggested freon so that he could charge me for something besides the service call. After waiting 5 days for Rollin Air to submit an authorization  to AHS for the repair of the compressor, I was informed by AHS that they still hadn't done it. So I called a competent, reputable A/C contractor on Tuesday, 7/11 and he came out that same day, tested my freon and said that my system was OVERCHARGED.  When I explained that Rollin Air had just been there on Friday, 7/7 and had ADDED a 1 lb of freon, he stated that there was no way that my system was in need of freon just a few days prior and he had to REMOVE the excess freon!!!!   Again, I believe that the technician only suggested freon in order to increase the charges. Also, the technician told me that I had to pay the $75 copay AND the $65 for the freon. So I wrote him a check for the total of $140.  However, AHS collects the copay directly from the customer and Rollin Air knows that!!!  They should have never collected the $75 copay.  Now for the past 10 days I have been attempting to get my $75 copay refunded to me.  I have called and left multiple messages every day since 7/12 and none of the office staff will respond to my request.  I am requesting a refund of the $65 for freon also because I do not believe my system ever needed any freon. I believe that Rollin Air was just padding their bill to make more money and I have the opinion of a competent professional that substantiates that opinion. [redacted]
