Review: On 1/23/15 Rollock, Inc. located at the [redacted] address purchased a 1999 4 door Chevy Blazer, illegally. This is a salvage yard.On 1/23/15 my estranged husband, who has no driver's license, nor does he have his name on the title of my vehicle, stole the car took it to the Rollock, Inc. salvage yard, in [redacted]; the employee there did confirm that the automobile was brought in at 12:17pm and they paid him $242.40 with check#[redacted]. When I informed the gentleman, who did confirm it was a male that brought the Blazer in; that the car was stolen, and that they(meaning Rollock) broke the law by purchasisng the vehicle without me being present to sign over the title, he agreed. I also informed the employee that criminal charges are being filed. He then gave me the name of the site manager "**" for [redacted], who NEVER returned my call. The gentleman who I had spoke with when this all started, named [redacted], was always very kind, courteous, and professional. All, I wanted was my vehicle, when the Lieutenant went there to get copies of documents, etc; now the site manager will not release my blazer back to me, stating he needs to talk with the company attorney. So now, the inspection has expired on the vehicle, it's been sitting there for 19 days so far. They broke the law, my estranged spouse broke the law, and I'm the one that has to do all this leg work, just to get my property back, soo unprofessional; they lie right to the lieutenant's face about security cameras, and the forgery that took place when they accepted the title for a car; without the owner being present or the document notorized!! I'm beyond frustrated. They continue to have me victimized as I have health issues on top of now this; it's cruel. Had they done things legally none of this would have happened; and or they would have received their $242.40 from the criminal in restitution. i'm disgusted.Desired Settlement: 1. My vehicle returned to me.2. Due to their lack of following the law & keeping my vehicle past inspection expiration; Rollock, Inc., will now have to have the inspection & emissions done & any repairs if needed for it to pass. They purchased the vehicle on 1/21/15; the inspection expired on 1/31/15, therefore, if repairs were/are needed Rollock, Inc., took that opportunity away from me, and now already in 2nd week of Feb. 2015.3. compensation for all the stress & financial strain on me.
