In August of I contracted David *** and his team with Roman Creations LLC to add a microtopping and then acid stain my unfinished concrete basement floor in my 100+ year old house in the cityWhen meeting with David’s team the first time to explain what I was hoping to achieve from this project they were great at telling me what was and was not possible in my request and then offering alternatives to achieve the final look I had my heart set onOf all the estimates I received, Roman Creation’s was on the lower end and also guaranteed the work to be completed in a shorter time frame than any other companyThe floor refinishing and staining was a two day processDuring both days that the Roman Creations team was at my house, they were courteous and acted like guests in the house and did a great job of looping us in on what steps were being completed and how much time was left in their activitiesOn day two when they were laying down the pattern and color they were very patient with my requests for tweaks to the color and again were comfortable telling me when my request may lead to a look darker than I had requestedThe final look is incredible; my boyfriend and I call it our “swimming pool” because of the fantastic mix of light grays, greens and bluesThe stained floor took our previously dark and unfinished basement to a newly reclaimed living space that is 1000% more livable and homey than beforeAfter the work was done David was great about checking in immediately after the job was done and then again a few weeks later to make sure everything was as we were expecting and that we were happyRoman Creations’ level of customer service before, during, and after the project is what makes me recommend them so highly as I have complete confidence that they would be attentive to any issues future customers had with their project, not to mention that the final product is impeccable

My wife and I after interviewing a few local businesses used Roman Creations to create a very unique man cave basement with concrete countertops, wet bar, stained and stamped flooring, stone fireplace, lighting and many extras We were very impressed with the professionalism, quality, and value of this project Dave and Gena Grembocki (owners) were personally involved from beginning to end They are very creative people and did a great job listening to the customer to ensure customer satisfaction They even called on us months later to ensure we were still satisfied with their work We could not be happier with our experience with Roman Creations and promote them any chance we get

We searched high and low to find a contractor who would complete an outdoor living space with the look we wanted When we saw the work of Roman Creations we knew we found the right company
We replaced a generic 15xpatio into an outdoor masterpiece which includes Sq Ft of stamped concrete, bar, masonry retaining walls and a fire pit / seating area In addition to excellent work, David's crew is top notch - friendly, professional and most importantly, left the job site clean everyday Using Roman Creations is well worth the wait! My house has a walkout which opened to grass and an under-deck area that had become a mud puddleAfter deciding I needed a patio, I called different concrete companies for estimates on a rectangular concrete padWhen Roman Creations came out, David, the owner, took my plan and ran with it adding a lot of creative details and flairI loved his ideas, but was concerned it would break my budgetI asked him to cost everything out individually in the estimate, which he didTo my surprise, Roman Creation's prices were comparable, if not better than the other two estimates I received, but added a lot more visual appealWhat started out as a plain, ordinary concrete pad has turned into a beautiful, curvy, stamped concrete patio, partial wall, and a curved sidewalk leading to my deck stairsWe even had them replace our old driveway with an exposed aggregate drive and curving sidewalkThis dramatically improved my house's curb appeal and now my walkout is not only functional, but also beautifulIt is now my personal "happy place"!

Roman Creations has done a number of outstanding outdoor living spaces in our neighborhood (Magnolia Subdivision In OFallon). When we were ready to do ours in 2014, we really didn't look at too many other companies due to David's reputation in the neighborhood.

We had a simple sketch of the shape of the patio we wanted, but David took that and ran with it helping us select stone, concrete coloring, patterns, and stamping that would really make the patio stand out in our neighborhood. We added a grill island and pergola - and went with a lighting package as well (which I highly recommend). You should definitely run gas to the fire pit also... We use it to get the fires going and then shut it off once we have a good fire going.

The end result has been a backyard with wow factor beyond our expectations. All of our guests have been very complimentary.

We later had Roman Creations finish our exposed foundation to give the house a really clean and tailored look. It made a major difference.

David has followed up after the sale as well on occasions when we had some issues with stone-work coming loose. He was able to get to us within a few days on probably 3 occasions.

Did a great job from front and back yard design of retaining wall, side walk and final touch of seal and mulch.

David and his team went above and beyond…. We hired Roman Creations to build a patio, they had great ideas and it turned out beautiful. The quality of their work is what impressed us most. As they were building it, they encountered a water issue in our yard. They came up with a great solution that really added to the look of the patio. Their communication throughout the process was great. We will definitely work with them again.

This is the second time we have had Roman Creations do work for us and for good reason. David listens to what we asked and then provided creativity and advice. His team is respectful, friendly and hard working. We would recommend them highly and looks like we are now having them do another project. He just completed an extended patio and kitchen bar by our pool. Looks awesome we love it! Wish I could include a picture.
