Review: Hired to update plans and get final permits closed on a construction job for my home. Has failed to complete the project and has been unresponsive for approximately 6 months even though received payments including advance on final payment.

###-###-####Desired Settlement: I need him to compete this job for me and my family especially considering he has received approximately 85% of the payment and I cannot get my building permits closed without him. Due to lack of response by the company I will also need to pay additional money to re-open the plumbing permit.

Review: I hired [redacted] to supercede my previous engineer. I needed him to continue the filing of paper work required by the Dept. of Buildings in Queens to obtain my certificate of occupancy. He knew I had issue prior to him and said he will work with me to help me obtian my Certificate of Occupany he charged me $2,800 dollars of which I paid all execpt the final $500.00 which he waived. I expalined that I am ill and need to sell my home and his negligence is preventing me from doing so. He has all the paper work he needs to finish my job and he refuses to do so. He has had since December 2012 to finish this job and has not. My file needs to be updated and house plan revised in which only a licensed engineer can do. he works with [redacted] Lic # [redacted]. I need help in resolving this issue as soon as possible. I paid him in good faith and he inturn has not responded to my pleas and contractual agreement to finish my job and obtain my certificate of occupancy. Please help me resolve this issue.
