I talked to *** today and found out what happenedShe tried to place an order with romeos pizza online, but her card gave a bad cvv errorShe tried this a total of times and tried again by calling the storeBecause of the type of card she has it places each transaction amount on hold whether
or not the transaction goes throughThe transaction should have never been charged to the card because it came up with an error code.I told her I would call her bank and try to straighten it out by calling Citibank on three way but citi bank was being very difficult and said they have a day hold policy on the account that they haveAnd told me it was their policy to hold the transaction amount to see if funds were available.They said I could write a letter requesting it be released earlierAnd I didI emailed a copy of the letter to ***There is nothing I can do because the card gave an error code and the customer tried multiple times to process it online and citi bank will not release funds because their policy is to hold the funds for days
