I am rejecting this response because:The purported and unsigned letter is not even signed or on company letterhead Herk R*** is an unknown to us and has no say in answering the complaintWe dealt only with Nicole G***, Store Manager. We never requested that Romero Jewelry accept the pearl ring, size 1/2, on consignmentThe only thing we requested was that the large south sea pearl be appraised by the older man, a certified Gemologist, in the shop and a value of the opal ring be determinedThen we could determine how we would proceed.When we returned the Gemologist was no longer there and I was shown the opal ring in pieces on a table as the ring had been taken apart and the gold ring was brokenI was assured that their jeweler would replace the ring exactly as it was when we brought it inAfter many months of delays, and promises for return of the finished ring our son finally picked up a ringThe ring given to our son is not even close to the ring created by Charlie R*** The ring we received contains a pearl less than half the size of our pearl, which has been measured and appraised by several reputable jewelers and a GemologistThe gold portion of the ring is not even the same color and so small that my wife can not place it on any fingerThe quality of the workmanship on the gold portion of the ring unbelievably poor, particularly when compared to the photos of the original Charlie R*** creation that we brought to Romero Jewelry.We hereby request that the original large pearl and gold ring be returned to us. I am rejecting this response because: Romero jewelers has not answered a single part of our complaintThe Manager has either failed to answer the complaint herself or has not seen itWe will give Romero Jewelers until Friday, May 5, to return our original South Sea Pearl ring or we will be forced to involve our legal council and to contact Charlie R*** directly at his Southern New Mexico home
