She did call and I went ahead and told her with the storms that have gone through StLouis, that all the roofs in the area of IL that she lives in made it mandatory for insurance companies to put new roofs on their homes. She is living in tornado valley. The shingles that
insurance had me put on were not able to withstand the winds. She didn’t even pay us and kept the money from the insurance company. She kept the $5,she was supposed to pay me. She said she makes the premiums and the money is her’s. She can take the money she still owes me to hire a different company to do her roof. I am not even in business anymore. I tried to help low income people with their homes in this trailer park and they are the ones who made me close my business by taking advantage and not paying me. She did not pay for the labor. If she wants to pay me the full $5,she owes me, I’ll gladly come fix her roof

I am rejecting this response because: I have read the response and need to correct some of the information which the business stated.I do not live in a trailer/mobile home park. I live in a home on my own private property. There is no such thing as a tornado alley where I live and this was confirmed by my insurance adjuster. The insurance adjuster pointed out that he did a very poor job on the ventilation systems. He did not use new vents as he was paid for and suppose to - he used the same rusty old ones that were there. The shingles are coming off and caused a major leak in the bathroom. He had been greedy and tried to get all of the money from my insurance company for the work upfront to him even before all the work was completed. However, the insurance and mortgage company was skeptical and issued the checks directly to me after speaking to him on the phone. He did receive all of the funds that were for him by the insurance company. The insurance company said that he had not used the funds from first installment for the materials of the roof and by the time he was working on the roof he needed the balance to finish purchasing materials to finish my roof.He also tried to do the work for another home and was on the local news for not finishing/improper work for this womanNo one has taken advantage of him or his group of workers. If anything, he has preyed on the poor
