Ron Austin Repair Shop

My truck broke down north of Lamar about days before Christmas I called Ron Austin repair and spoke directly with *** (mechanic) He was extremely pleasant on the phone and told me that even though the shop was busy, he would make time to look at my truck and see what he could do
After getting my truck towed to the shop, *** finished up the car he was working on and immediately started in on my truck He methodically evaluated the vehicle and determined that the fuel pump was bad There was no replacement part in town but he ordered one for overnight delivery and told me he would start on replacement first thing in the AM
When I showed up at in the morning, he was already in the process of replacing the fuel pump and told me he'd be done in about minutes
After a brief wait, they had me back on the road and the vehicle runs better than it has in years
***, the shop owner, could have charged me an extra amount for the emergency service, but I've spoken with several of my friends and they said that he treated me more than fairly on the cost of the repair
I can't recommend the people at Ron Austin Auto Repair more highly They are run a quality shop and genuinely care about their customers
