Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.   Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2017 10:26 AM Subject: Revdex.com Complaint[...] The work as of today has been finished to my satisfaction. Fingers crossed the issue does not return.I would also to notate that Ron [redacted] the Service Director did an amazing job of reaching out to me and keeping me informed once he received my complaints.

Reference Revdex.com  case # [redacted]A review of our documents and interview of all employees present during the work performed on [redacted] vehicle exposed the following facts:1. [redacted] vehicle was in our shop in August of 2014 for an Oil & Filter Service at 11,000 miles, the vehicle now...

has 67,359 miles. Applying the guide of "every 6,000 miles" for having the vehicle's engine oil changed would mean that [redacted] should have had the oil changed 8 times since his last oil change with Ron Carter Alvin.2. Cross-threading of any bolt only occurs when tightening it, not when loosening or removing it.3. [redacted] brought his vehicle to us on 10.16.2015 @ 8:42 A.M   He requested we perform a Lube, Oil, & Filter Service, Tire Rotation, and perform a factory issued recall. 4. The vehicle was first dispatched to have the Oil & Filter Service , Tire Rotation performed. Our Technician raised [redacted] vehicle in the air to begin performing the Oil & Filter Service. When he began removing the oil drain plug he noticed it was coming out with difficulty ( they usually come out with relative ease ) . At this point he stopped removal of the drain plug and notified the Shop Foreman  who went to the vehicle to inspect it. He used his flashlight to inspect the drain plug and saw that threads were coming out with the plug, a classic sign that the oil drain plug was either over-tightened  or cross-threaded.5. [redacted] was then notified of the problem and he asserted that we had caused the problem . We assured him we had not and he, authorized the oil pan to be replaced.Based on the above statements of facts, we find no basis for reimbursement to [redacted] for the replacement of the oil pan. It is unfortunate, and possibly one of the prior service facilities where he had the oil changed will accommodate his request.
