If you look at the enclosed Bill of Sale, you will see that for a reduction of$1,000.00, Mr [redacted] assumed all cost of repairs.A transmission that has no fluid will not move.Mr [redacted] never notified our dealership of any repairs until he called sayingthat his vehicle would not runWe then loaned him a vehicle to use untilhis was repaired by someone elseFinally, we towed in his vehicle at nocost to him and checked his vehicle for the problem he said the vehiclehadUpon inspecting his vehicle, we found the only problem was thevehicle was “out of gas”We put gas into it and charged the battery andthe vehicle ran perfectly. In the process of inspecting his vehicle, he was involved in an accidentwith the loaner car we provided. As of now, Mr [redacted] is driving the vehicle we sold him without anyproblems we know of and hopefully he is watching his gas gauge

In regards to your letter concerning Mr*** and his free oil change at miles
First of all nobody changes oil at milesMr*** would not if he was paying and should not expect someone else to pay so either
Mr*** to date has received four (4) free oil changes, @
$= $and five (5) free State Inspections, @ $= $or a total of $and he is still not satisfied with the program
The program is this - It is a gift no one is charged for - It is not part of the sale - There is no contract and no fee or payment of any kindIt is a good will gesture from us for purchasing the vehicle from usMost people appreciate the free State Inspection and free Oil Change and Loaner Cars and Roll back services and waiting no longer than five (5) minutes for their car to be servicedThere is always someone who wants more regardless of how reasonable it is
As far as GM’s policy on oil changes, it is at 7,milesThey have a program on oil changes that GM will pay for an oil change at 7,miles and not one mile soonerMr *** says that the manual says the oil May be changed once a year - not has to be changed or even should be changed
Therefore, it is within our right not to change oil at a completely unreasonable milesAnd he was told we would have changed it at 7,miles as recommended by GM
So because of this unfortunate situation of not being fair and reasonable in changing oil at miles instead of 7,miles, and because we don’t need this aggravation of something we give willingly and free, we feel it is in the best interest of both parties to cancel this existing program with Mr***And since this is a gift which he pays nothing for, it is within our right to do so and therefore it is not an entitlement
Mr*** can now change his oil at his convenience and his cost which you can be sure will not be at miles

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Regards,
[redacted] I understand the dealership's position.  It is a pricey oil change, however I don't understand why the mileage that I choose to put on my car is of any concern to the dealership.  I can scan a copy of my owner's manual where it states that the oil should be changed at 7,500 miles or at least once a year, whichever comes first.  That is GM's requirement, not mine.  The date that my car was taken for the oil change was almost 1 year exactly.  The reason for changing the oil at least once a year is because the oil becomes acidic as a byproduct of the combustion process and it is harmful to the engine components to sit with the acidic oil.  My car is parked for winter every year, so it is especially harmful to let the acidic oil sit in the crankcase all winter.  The mileage on my car should not be an issue for the dealer.  The paper that I received when I purchased the car says 1 free oil change a year, not 1 free oil change every 7,500 miles.  Had I put 7,500 miles on my car this year, they would have changed it without an issue, so why do they have an issue with it in this case.  Either way it would have cost them the same amount of money.  My maintenance plan for my car is proactive.    I even called several other dealerships and they all said that the oil needs to be changed at least once a year.  Ron Davidson simply does not want to supply the services that they promised because it costs them money.  I am not happy with their service or handling of the situation at all, and I will never set foot in that dealership again.  I will make sure to tell everyone that I know how they treated me.  The owner's son even went so far as to call me an a$%hole to my face and promised to talk to the service manager the next day and call me first thing in the morning...needless to say its been 2 weeks and no response.

Review: I had purchased my 2006 jeep commander on October 30th they 2nd day I had had it I had to get the sway bar bushings replaced then a week later the tire pressure system then I took it to my garage and the transmission fluid was bone dry then last week I was driving and couldn't stop or steer had to pull the emergency brake to stop then I lost abs traction control and it said to service 4wd system then a day after I was driving home and all the lights in the vehicle came on and it just shut off then I had to get it towed to my house then I called the dealership and they said the could not fit me in till December 15th but they gave me a rental and they offered to come tow the vehicle but I simply said I just want to give the vehicle back because this will be the 5th time for it going into the garage and they gave me the option of trading and I tried making it right but they would not they just kept saying the would fix the vehicle so I said I would be contacting the better business beaureaDesired Settlement: Would just like to have my money back

Review: I recently purchased a 2004 Hummer H2 at the beginning of October. 2 weeks after having the car, it had to be returned to the dealership to have a check engine light fixed. The car clearly stated to "tighten gas cap". I called the service dept. and they were more than willing to fix it. I made arrangements to have the car taken back since we live over an hour away and filled it with fuel ($100). We received the car back promptly and the issue had supposedly been "fixed". My fianc was the first driver after it returned and she noticed that the check engine light was on again and the same "tighten gas cap" message appeared. I made another phone call to the dealer to have this same issue fixed once again and asked that we be reimbursed for the fuel since this should have already been taken care of. I was told this was not a decision he could make, so I left a message for the owner and never got a returned call. Later that same day, my fianc stop to put fuel in the car and heard a waterfall-like sound and looked under the car to find fuel spewing from underneath. The next day she made 2 phone calls trying to get the dealer to reimburse for fuel to no avail. Finally, she was put through to the owner, Ron Davidson, Jr. She pleaded our case stating our issues and the same message is appearing and now after getting the car back from them, we found this new problem that we did not have prior to them having it and the issue that they supposedly "fixed" was dealing with the same area. She gave 3 options: reimburse for fuel, pay a towing fee, or reimburse us to have it fixed locally. He turned down all offers. He then made a suggestion, which we tried and it didn't work. She made another 3 phone calls to them the following day and he was not willing to compromise at all. He became angered at the thought that she was accusing them of sabotaging our car and even more angered at the mention of contacting the Revdex.com.Desired Settlement: All that we are asking as settlement is that these issues be fixed properly at no cost to us, since the problems are the same and the car is still under warranty.

Dear Ms. Palmer Edwards,

Review: [redacted] At the time I purchased my car, the dealer, Ron Davidson Chevrolet in Ebensburg PA gave me a paper stating that my car would receive free lifetime inspections and 1 free oil change a year for as long as I owned it. I still have this paper. This car is basically a summer toy and rarely gets driven, however I do take it for its one oil change a year before parking it for the winter. This is the recommended maintenance schedule set by GM in the owner's manual. I have taken the car for inspection and its oil change for the last 4 years without any issues. I scheduled the appointment on Friday and my father took it for service today. On the way home my father realized that the old oil sticker was still in the window. he thought that it was just an error so he called them when he got home and they told him that they weren't wasting their money changing the oil in a car that only had 600 miles put on it this year. My brother called to complain about it and was told the same thing and the manager said that he was too busy and hung up on him. I was upset about this when I got home from work and also called. I was told that it was rediculous and that they weren't wasting their money on the oild change even if I was entitled to it. At that point I was furious and drove to the dealership with my owner's manual stating the recommended oild change interval as well as copies of all of the oild changes that the car has had done to show that the yearly interval was up. The manager was very smart to my brother and I and told me to stop being an xxxxxxx and that he'd look into it and get back to me. I repeatedly showed him the paper stating that I was entitled to 1 free oil change a year and showed him the owner's manual stating that the oild my be changed at a minimum of 1 time per year. He responded by telling me that the manual is wrong.Desired Settlement: I no longer want that dealership, or trust them to work on my car. I want them to supply the oil and filter which is 8 qts of Mobil One synthetic at a cost of approx $9.19/qt http://www.[redacted] and also an AC Delco Oil Filter at a cost of $4.19 http://www.[redacted] and I will change it myself.

First of all nobody changes oil at 600 miles. Mr. [redacted] would not if he was paying and should not expect someone else to pay so either.

Mr. [redacted] to date has received four (4) free oil changes, 4 @ $120.00 = $480.00 and five (5) free State Inspections, 5 @ $50.00 = $250.00 or a total of $730.00 and he is still not satisfied with the program.

The program is this - It is a gift no one is charged for - It is not part of the sale - There is no contract and no fee or payment of any kind.
