We did not replace a cable, there was already a new one on there and we was told by the customer that he had a shade tree machanic work on it before it came to us. We will stand behind our work if we have done the jobIf we would have replaced the cable there would have been a charge for it

Here is the receipts from Ron's GarageI did go there to talk to them about the broken cableThe guy behind the desk was a bit fidgety when I asked him about the broken partAnother worker jumped in really quick and stated - "oh, we don't do that here" as if he was just caught
raiding the cookie jarI only want my money back for the parts they broke or kept

We at Ron's Garage did not put a shifting cable on Mr***'s truck and he had told us that someone had worked on it before us and done shady workWe did not ask who done the work. We told him what we found out about the vehicle and what we would charge to fix it and he told us to not do anything else to it because he couldn't fix it at this timeWe would not glue a shifting cable nor could you glue a shifting cableThe bottom line is that we did not replace or touch the shifting cableFor a response to Pickle Town Garage he is our competitor and will never have anything good to say about us to anyone about our work or anything just to make himself look better and get more business. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It was not the steel part that was super glued togetherIt was the end that attached to the steering and there was clearly gobs and gobs of glueThis part was new and not broken when you towed the vehicle to your shopYou did try to replace the cable as you called me and told me that I needed a new transmission because the cable did not fitPlease own up to your error and refund the amount I am asking forRegards,*** ***

When Ron's Garage picked up the vehicle, the shifting cable was not installedThey took everything apart and installed the cableWhen they put it all back together, they did not install of the bolts (they were left in the pan loose). They also called and told me that I would need a new transmission as this was the problem and the cost would be about $This is why I asked them not to do anythingThe issue was not with the transmissionIf they claim that they did not do anything, then why did they charge for labor in the amount of $and a transmission filter for $16.38? There was a new transmission filter included with the cable and they bought their own? Since they claim that they did not do anything to the truck, I would like a refund for the labor they claim they di not do and charged me for, the transmission filter, and the return tow charge for a total of $228.88.Regards,*** ***

We did not replace the cable and did not superglue the cableThe cable is steel and you cannot superglue steel
