(“vehicle”) to the tire center and purchased two new tires on August 23, The technician installing the new tires switched the existing two tires to the rear of the vehicle and installed the two new tires on the front to ensure even tread wearOn September 13, 2016, Ms*** returned to the tire center and informed the technician the vehicle now pulls to the right and that she hears road noiseBecause they had just installed two new tires and rotated them three weeks prior, the technician performed a complimentary cross-switch of the tires on the vehicle and checked the tire pressurePer our technician, the tires were not under-inflated as the customer’s report statesAccording to the customer’s report, the vehicle’s wheel spindle over-heated while towing a 4,pound trailer with her half-ton pickup downhill on September The customer had the vehicle and trailer towed by AAA to an auto shop where she incurred a service bill in the amount of $to repair the damaged spindleHad the issue with the spindle presented itself at the time of the September 13, visit to the Grass Valley tire center, Ms*** would have incurred a similar repair billAs soon as Les Schwab learned the customer was dissatisfied with the services received, Les Schwab’s store manager contacted the customer and, solely as a gesture of customer service, offered to reimburse her for half of the repair billThe customer refused and would not accept anything less than the entire amount reimbursedLes Schwab apologizes for any inconvenience the customer may have experiencedBased on our investigation, Les Schwab believes its customer service gestures are fair and reasonable offers to resolve Ms*** concernsAlthough Les Schwab disagrees with the customer’s allegations and are unwilling to resolve her concerns for what she asks, we would like to assure Ms*** that Les Schwab diligently investigated her concerns, worked in good faith to resolve her concerns in a fair manner, and remains committed to providing the best service possible to its customers
