This documentation does not show my payments and it does not correspond with my dates of service or my dates of paymentI did not pay the amounts shown at any timeI request the payments that have been applied to my account on the days I made them. With the brief conversation that I had with Elizabeth, the manager of the third party billing she was able to provide me with days and amounts of my payments. I request this documentation so that I can compare it with the payments I have made. I've attached what was submitted to my insurance and what I've paid the clinic. $is much less than what my records show.I fully understand how medical insurance worksI've worked in a medical office which is why I am questioning the accounting hereMy name changing with my medical insurance should have no bearing on what is applied to my accountThe account number has not changed. Dear Revdex.com: We are receipt of complaint #*** and this is our response. This patient was seen in our office Endocrinology Associates. The patient has a $high deductible plan with UHC which we are contracted with. All of the charges were applied to the patients
deductible and are patient responsibility. The patient was billed accordingly. The patient did voluntarily sign up for a monthly payment plan of which she is current with her payments. However, there was a payment in which she submitted with a different name that caused a delay in posting as the billing company was unable to locate the account with the new name. Our billing company has been in communication with this patient and explained the delay. The billing company at the patients request sent both a ledger and a payment report to her in September to try and answer her questions. Those are attached for review. As of her other complaints of scamming and or money laundering, it is unfortunate that the patient does not understand her healthcare coverage or how the process works. We would encourage her to contact her health plan for any further questions regarding coverages. She is responsible for her balance owed per her plan coverage. We will continue to honor her monthly payment plan as long as the payment is made regularly. She does have the right to choose her providers and we would be happy to forward any records to any provider she so chooses with a signed release per the HIPAA rules and regulations.
