Incorrect installation of a roof.
Ronald D. Gipson installed a garage roof in 2008. During the installation, the contractor determined that the roof was installed incorrectly and made Mr. Gipson remove it and reinstall it. This January, a section of the shingles came off of the roof. My husband was able to nail it back on the roof. In April another section of shingles came off of the roof. On 5/11, 5/18, 5/21, I called Mr. Gipson and left voicemail messages and he did not return my call. On 5/24, I spoke with him that this was a 3 year old roof and I did not think that sections of the roof should be falling off. He suggested that a fan might need to be installed because the roof was too hot. I told him that I believed that it was bad shingles or bad installation. He told me that he would come by and look at it. Soon after that phone call, he came by and nailed the shingle on the roof. On 5/30, I called him and asked him what needed to be done to the roof. He said he would be by to get a sample of the shingle to get to the manufacturer by 6/8. I told him that I wanted this information back by 6/15 and I wanted his plan of action by 6/15. I called him on 6/20, leaving a message and then I left on vacation. HE NEVER CALLED ME AND I ALWAYS INITIATED THE PHONE CALLS. I called him on 7/23 and told him if he did not return my call that I would report him to the Revdex.com. I will now be seeking legal consult.
