Review: Grosso Builder, then in Kenosha, WI, built our home. We've since moved.
When the home was built, Grosso installed the roof. It subsequently had large areas of shingles that blew off several times. Grosso blamed the shingle manufacturer. The shingle manufactured blamed Grosso's faulty installation. Either way, Grosso provided both the materials and the labor to me, the purchaser.
To get the roof fixed, my insurance, Allstate, paid the claims (3 if I recall correctly) and I paid the deductible. When I complained to the insurance company, they agreed to subrogate the claims and actually obtained a judgement against Grosso. Grosso skipped town.
As far as I know, Grosso has never satisfied the judgement against him and his business. At any rate, I have not been refunded any of the deductible that was included in the Allstate claim and judgement.Desired Settlement: Refund of $150 in insurance deductibles.
