This man, while he was still a lawyer, stole about $97,000 dollars from a trust my father set up with him shortly after a horrible traffic accident where my career truck driving father was badly injured and his truck burnt to the ground, almost with him in it. Ron Barker did help my father receive a large settlement, about $100k. Then, he proceeded to borrow money from my dad's trust without permission and at least once by forging his name AFTER HIS DEATH. At the hearing to review the case, he lied to the Missouri Bar about pretty much everything. Ron Barker was disbarred for his complete disregard for the law and civility and still owes my father's estate about $30k, but the amount he actually stole from my father was closer to $97k, but he replaced some of the monies with borrowed money from "friends." He should not be giving any sort of legal advice to anyone. He was disbarred for professional misconduct. Do not trust him. He is no longer a lawyer not only because of what he did to my dad, but because several other similar grievances arose with his other clients when my father's case came to light. I can't stress it enough: Ron Barker is not a trustworthy person.
