We are agreeing to refund the $as requestedHowever! I want to set the record straight and to have our side of the story documented. *** *** is an adult who made the commitment to purchase a vehicle and put money down to hold said vehicle. He was given options by our
salesman regarding the fuel sending unit but he was not pushed or pressured into anything. When he put the non-refundable deposit down on April 5, 2016, we agreed to hold the truck until April 16, and to fix the fuel sending unit. We held the truck and made the repair as promised. We actually held the vehicle longer as a good faith gesture to allow him more time to get his vehicle sold, therefore from April 5th to 19th, we turned away other customers and did not sell it because we had a purchase commitment from *** I want to be very clear that it was *** that modified our agreement and he is the one who backed out from buying the truck like he promisedHe was give an invoice showing the agreed upon price of the truck and the deposit agreement which clearly states it is non-refundable. He complains about our selling practices when we have incurred additional costs because he changed his mind and broke the contract. If a customer changes his mind, then the customer doesn't get the deposit back...simple as that. Perhaps some kind of settlement could have been worked out back on April 19th but when *** chose to start cussing/using LOTS of fowl language, screaming, ranting, is very disrespectful and unprofessional and hangs up on the phone on both the salesman and myself, then I think his buying practices should be called into question
