What an amazingly pleasurable experience. Exquisite A1 customer service. We purchased a home in April and life happened.. was out on unpaid medical leave and fell behind on some bills which heavily impacted my credit. We’re finally getting back on our feet and in dire need of a second vehicle because our car called it quits on us - with winter upon us, a new baby girl and 2 other boys in grade school we were feeling the pressure. I went to a number of dealers in PA and no one could help us, they made us wait days - ran multiple credit checks and it hurt us even more. I decided to take an hour and a half trip to Jersey to Ron Motors as a last resort - great cars for affordable prices. Ron was actually able to help me finance the car that we actually wanted, with a super affordable payment - we are beyond grateful ????. Totally worth it.

I purchased a Lincoln MKZ from Ron Motors on 4/13/2018. Upon purchase, I was not provided with the title for the vehicle. I was informed by ***, after reaching out to them that the title was not with my bill of sale and receipts. At that time, *** advised, the title was not readily available to provide to me and I should have it within 30 days.

I have now waited approximately 60 days and I have not been able to obtain the title for the vehicle, nor have I been given ample information from Ron Motors. The leadership team there will not assist me as I am now unable to get my vehicle registered in my name without the title. The company has also failed to assist me with issuing a temporary license plate as the matter gets resolved.

In addition to this concern, I was provided a loaner car from the company while awaiting my vehicle repair, and the loaner vehicle broke down/became disabled. I contacted Ron Motors to advise, I was informed to tow the vehicle. Upon getting the vehicle towed, Ron Motors refused to refund me for the cost of the tow. This was not my personal vehicle, but their loaner. I am due a refund for the tow as well as the title to my purchased vehicle.

I believe this company has taken advantage of me as the consumer. There was no need to have a vehicle listed as for sale without the proper documentation to sell the vehicle. If there were issues surrounding the title document, as the consumer, I should have been notified upon purchase that the title was not available.

On the 09/29/17, I saw a vehicle on ***, I called the dealer who gave me a ride to Wantage NJ from Newark. On our way he promised to sell a good car as I was concerned about how to get back home. Looked through the lot and drove some vehicles, with much disappointment I called out the dealer complaining that most of the cars have issues, reminding him about his promise. He got out of his office and started pointing to the so called "good cars" in his lot( Cars without issues). I was only able to test 2 of those vehicles and chose the 2003 Buick Park Avenue. I immediately purchase the insurance and he processed the paperwork but promised to bring the title later. Immediately the paperwork was done, I set out to Newark, barely 7 miles into the journey I notice that the transmission was slipping. I called Ron and tried to explain what happened, he told me that he is busy with a customer and dropped the phone. I called him again and he didn't respond. I got home that night worried about the car but had to go to New york as I had work the following day.

On Sunday, I drove the car to work but this time the transmission had worsened, Monday I had an early morning work schedule, drove the car and at this point the situation had deteriorated. I called Ron after work and explained to him what happen, he said that's how American cars are, that you had you gas down very well before the transmission engages. On my way home that day, I was really scared as the vehicle wouldn't change gear on the highway and I was lucky to be close to a gas station where I pulled over. I managed to get the vehicle home.

That evening, Ron came with the title of the vehicle. I refused to collect the title as I explained to him how the vehicle has caused me so mush pain and he never told me that it had issues.

The next morning(today), I decided to take the car back to him. On my way there, the vehicle broke down. I got a tow truck to get the car to his place. I didn't go to work for this.

To whom it may concern

We as Ron Motor always keep our main goal as customer satisfaction this gentleman step in to our dealership by getting ride from my brother from Newark New Jersey all the way to Sussex New Jersey which is 55 miles. I have 110 cars in my lot .Their prices start from $300 to $6000. This gentleman asked me to show him the cheap cars under $600. I show him more than five cars and he continuously complaining about muffler problem in the cars and he finally make a decision to buy the Buick Park Avenue 2003 Which was a decent car based on our bill of sale We sell the car as is. And same thing for this dear customer. based on as is deal The dealer waive the obligation of repairing the car for free. Unfortunately based on my dealership rules and regulation we do not have any return policy and we suggest our customers to bring their mechanic to check the car for them because we are not mechanic to certify one car for people that it works forever. I keep the car in my lot for maximum three business days and then I will call the police to tow the car to the impound lot. So in order to solve the problem before charging more expense on the customer please inform the customer to pick up the car from my lot ASAP.

thanks.

I am rejecting this response because:

I am perplexed with the response from the business. As they have stated, they sold me a bad car without listing the issues of the car. They have stated that the gas gauge is faulty and they never told me that, I could have been stranded on the highway for God knows how long. They are not addressing the issues that the car has. The transmission of the vehicle is bad and I endangered my life by driving that vehicle. They have also failed to realize that I am no longer interested in getting any type of vehicle, because I am not ready to take the risk or endanger my life as their sincerity is questionable. I want a full refund of my money and the cost of towing their faulty vehicle back to their shop. With this, I will quietly work away. Also, I pray that their business is well scrutinized as they have been and are going to do this same thing to other people. I don't get why they keeps on threatening with the police towing the vehicle, (he can go ahead and do that) as I am no long interested in traveling over 42 miles to pick up a faulty vehicle. They can go ahead and also expose the shady practice they have been operating to the police. I have a recording on my phone where his brother(Ron) states that I should take the vehicle to the mechanic and I should get him to take the transmission oil out and put another one(Acknowledging that the transmission is bad). I don't know how to upload the audio. I worked so hard to put that money together and won't allow some shady business to take my money without voicing out the injustice.

All Lies... I have neither heard nor had any sort of communications from these guys since I told them that the car was faulty. The last time I had any communication was the day Ron brought the title 2nd of October, 2017 and tried to force me to collect it, of which I rejected. I don't understand why they will lie that they discussed solutions with me when I haven't heard from them all these while(Only shows the kind of business they operate). The only response I have gotten from the business is on this platform. I will never set my foot anywhere near the dealership as I regret taking such actions and I don't intend to have any other solution than to get my money back and allow justice to prevail on how this business operates and treats it's "So called" customers. If they had told me that the car was a bad car, I will never have purchased it. I have moved on and do not intend to waste my precious time and hard earned money traveling that distance for a discussion that will not yield any sort of result.

I have suffered financially, psychologically and even put my life in danger and other road users by driving a faulty car from their dealership, Please my $642(Car purchase) and the Towing truck money of $250 is all I want back from this business and I also pray that Revdex.com will look into their sharp business practices.
