I paid my car note every month and he repossessed my car and had it back on his lot for sale within 4 days
I bought the car February 23,2018 I went there to purchase a cash car he had for sale I honestly wasn't trying to finance a car being a single mother and had been without transportation for 7 months and it was a struggle. He told me to test drive 2016 Chevy Malibu, when I got back about to hand him the keys he said you like that car. I'll let you get it for 10,000 4,000 down no finance charges and I don't have to go through a bank, I can buy there pay there 250 a month. It had 41317 miles He didn't even ask for any financial info. I thought it was a blessing for my kids and I, even ignored the fact that they forged my signature on the title application. I never skipped a payment, I have all my receipts, contract everything. I'm on a fixed income and my daughter wanted to go to prom. I had to get her stuff for prom. On Marc I29 I called and told him that I was going to going to pay around the April 10 when I received my child support. He came and repossessed my car April 9th, and never contacted me again. I called and he said he wanted the full balance plus 500 repo fee. The tow truck took the car straight to his lot 5 minutes away, I saw it on my OnStar map. I went up there 4 days later and he had done cleaned all my personal belongings out and had it back on his lot. My beginning amount was 11,956.96 after he added taxes and fees. My remaining balance was 4,956.96. My last note was paid March 4 for 250 I wasn't in default. I have all paperwork receipts too
I don't have that type of money to pay all at once. And I most definitely wasn't paying my car note every month for it to get snached away from me as if I was skipping payments. I'm a single parent of thre I have custody of my nephew since he was born. He have a bunch of issues due to my sister using drugs her entire pregnancy and I have to be at the school alot to tend to him and it's harder now because the school isn't walking distance but what's a mother to do. It's only the kids and me I don't have a support system. I feel like I've been robbed and there's nothing I can do about it. All my money I put into it just to end up with no transportation and no money. What's so hurtful to me is I believe he was setting me up for that or why else would he not care about my income or what date I get paid didn't even ask. It'll be more understanding for me if I was skipping payments and giving him a reason and I even called to let him know.
Mrs *** purchased her vehicle from our firm on 2/23/2018, the vehicle was financed with no credit check for 4000 dollars down, after the sixth payment she defaulted 23 days on her car note so her vehicle was repossessed 10/16/2018 (her payment was due 9/23/2018). We gave her a *** to redeem her vehicle back if she paid her note plus the Repossession fee which she did and took possession of her vehicle again. After that her payments became late every month until her vehicle got repossessed again 4/9/19 (payment was due 3/23/19). since it was her second repossession we could no longer trust this account and we requested a payoff and the customer was given an oral notice that she has ten day by law to redeem her vehicle which she didn't and at the point of time we put the vehicle up for sale.
