You also stated on your complaint, your purchase date of the unit was 4/21/2017; we have no record of that, we have that the units were installed February You also stated the amount you purchased the units for was $8000; again we have no record of that, you purchased each of the units for $5898.88, totally $11,for a duplex, which are units per duplexYou can make us look like we charged you some ridiculous amount for the jobs, which is everything but the truth; but Mr [redacted] at Keystone Builders, you have an outstanding balance here for your [redacted] that were done for these duplexesIf you would like us to reimburse you for the warranty work done on the duplex; then what we would like to see in return, is the complete itemized invoice from the company that did the work for you, that totaled $250.00; for us to look over and review for us to make sure it’s a legit invoice, & and we also would like a copy of the cancelled check; Since you owe us money from the [redacted] that are still unpaid, and as long as the invoice from the other company is legit, we will deduct the $from your outstanding balance, and send a revised invoice to you, and needs to be paid within calendar days

Tell us why here... Mr. [redacted],...

... November 8th, 2017Responding to your complaint:First off-Mr. [redacted], I will start off and say, you talked to our receptionist on Friday October 27, 2017. Not on 10/29/2017 (which was a Sunday), which is what you put, on your complaint, that you spoke to our company on.You are correct; you did hire us to do HVAC work on your duplexes’. But you knew we were not licensed to do the work in Rockford, before we even started the HVAC work. The city of Rockford knew we were not licensed to do the work in Rockford; and knew we were working under another contractor’s license, as did you and your business.  With that being said, I have an email from either you or your partner, asking for the “said relative’s” license information so you can go to the city of Rockford and get the permits to start the HVAC work. As you stated to one of the owners, you did not want us to continue with your work on the duplexes’, because we were not licensed in Rockford.   We spoke to an inspector, Mr. [redacted] of the City of Rockford; who did tell us that we do have to have a license to do service or any work in the City of Rockford and for us to reference: Code 112.6.1 Class A. Which states- “Class ‘A’ license shall be issued to a person desiring to enter into the business of installing, altering, or servicing warm air heating, air conditioning, ventilating equipment and prefabricated fireplaces”. Whom did you speak to about servicing in Rockford without a license, Mr. [redacted]? You also stated on your complaint, your purchase date of the unit was 4/21/2017; we have no record of that, we have that the units were installed February 2017.  You also stated the amount you purchased the units for was $8000; again we have no record of that, you purchased each of the units for $5898.88, totally $11,797.76 for a duplex, which are 2 units per duplex. You can make us look like we charged you some ridiculous amount for the jobs, which is everything but the truth; but Mr. [redacted] at Keystone Builders, you have an outstanding balance here for your [redacted] that were done for these duplexes. If you would like us to reimburse you for the warranty work done on the duplex; then what we would like to see in return, is the complete itemized invoice from the company that did the work for you, that totaled $250.00; for us to look over and review for us to make sure it’s a legit invoice, & and we also would like a copy of the cancelled check; Since you owe us money from the [redacted] that are still unpaid, and as long as the invoice from the other company is legit, we will deduct the $250 from your outstanding balance, and send a revised invoice to you, and needs to be paid within 7 calendar days.
