Ron's Kuntry Kitchen Reviews (11)

First off I would begin by apologizing to Mr. [redacted] for any misunderstanding regarding the installation of the trailer hitch he requested and ultimately received. Franklin Ford has engaged [redacted] for many years to perform various installations on our new and pre-owned vehicles. They are a...

reputable organization with a proven track record of quality work. Although the initial installation was not to your satisfaction, the job was corrected by the vendor and I am confident that the work is correct. I will offer to personally inspect the vehicle aided by my Shop Foreman, a Ford certified technician to ensure that everything is in proper order with the trailer hitch and wiring.  Please contact me directly to arrange for this inspection [redacted],                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         General Manager                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Franklin Ford

This does not satisfy my claim. If Franklin Ford itself does not recognize my dimished value claim themselves then please pass it along to your general liability insurance carrier and have them contact me. I will be pursuing this further with litigation if necessary.

At this point it appears Mr. [redacted] is more concerned with cyber bashing Franklin Ford than meeting to inspect his vehicle and insure everything is in working order with the traler hitch. I don't see any point in continuing this discussion. I have apologized for any misinformation communicated and I made an offer to personally inspect the work performed. I did discover an issue with my [redacted] email and have corrected and tested it as well. I feel I have responded appropriately to the trailer hitch issue\[redacted]Franklin Ford

Your making this out that I'm unreasonable when its your dealership who was dishonest and did live up to the agreed to repair by your technicians but instead decided to send it back to the same people who claim they needed to drill holes in the car. You and I both know ford would not build 2 different quarter panels, the path for the proper wiring is there since this car comes with a factor installed hitch. I don't for a second even believe that this is the you, its probably the sales GM who said the original install was correct!!! And then lied and said you guys were going to do it.  What about my time, my mileage, etc.? I think its within reason that I should ask for the installation costs back for this since it was not properly done in the first place and especially after your dealership went back on their word, lied to my face. I have all the pics of the texts, we had a verbal deal and I have a screen shot of your salesman saying your guys out back will do the work , see attached

Franklin Ford will not consider a claim for diminished value. We will, however, investigate a trade assist for a comparable vehicle if the customer so desires.

If posting the issue as it happened with the lies and showing the picture proof that you dealership lied to me is cyber bashing, well I guess the truth does hurt doesn't it. Trying to make it look like I caused this issue is insulting. Any statements I have made were truthful and backed up with proof via pictures of the text and the visual voicemails.  I would never let you dealership touch the vehicle,  your dealership has was caught in multiple lies so how could I trust you at this point? I would however except another dealer, not owned or affiliated with your dealership, to inspect the installation of the wiring. A 3rd party would be impartial and there could not be any influence by you or your staff which should be at your cost.  This would be the only way there could be closure since your employee's were not honest from the start and have gone back on their statements. Remember, this all started by your vendor not installing the wiring correctly and your employees promising (see those pictures) to take care of the issue which I was fine with until your sales manager went back on what was agreed to. He did not even bother to own up to it until I confronted them with the GPS information. Your salesman, when I picked up the car no mention that the car left the property and that your technicians did not do it. As I stated before, the 3rd party wanted to drill holes in the car which was not needed since Ford makes this car with a factory installed hitch. The same passages through the body should be used since Ford will have them no matter if the car came with a hitch or not. Statements that day from the 3rd party said they would need to drill holes in the car. The question are now do I have now new holes in the body, how do I know? If so, what happens to the integrity of the body panel, will it now rust, was it primed if they drilled, will it rust out a year from now, who knows because someone else not under your control did it. Your sales manager should be ashamed of doing this, how can anyone trust what he says or what anyone says there.
