Review: Ron's Moving was hired to move pianos in my church ([redacted]). In the process of moving the piano down the stairs, 15 stair treads were damaged, creating a safety hazard. A representative from Ron's Moving inspected the damage and assured me it would be taken care of "next week"(August 2013). Each time I called, I was assured it would be taken care of "next week". On December 4 I was told [redacted] would call me. I have not received a callback from[redacted](12/6).In addition to the stair treads, some of the moulding was damaged. Sincerely,[redacted], Secretary, Trustees, [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like Ron's Moving to replace the stair treads with the same quality as the existing treads or refund our money.

Review: Mover arrived at old house on 6/19/15 to transport furniture from 4 bedroom house to new home 1 1/2 miles away in a "RENTED,UNDERSIZED" truck. After filling their truck to the tailgate, they did likewise to mine as well. Unable to reconnect washer @ new home because they forgot "adapter fitting",dining room table reassembled improperly due to stripped bolts, grandfathers clock unable to continue to run after reassembly;told it needed a "TUNE-UP";actually,pendulum was bent when forced back into clock, extensively scratched an expensive desk "forcing" it thru a doorway w/o protective cover.Home completely refinished before moving in,large ,greasy handprints on 2 walls & stairwell required repainting to remove. A wire was broken in the electronic lock on my safe due to abusive mishandling. When I pointed out that they left a large brass bed, antique brass floor lamp, small 5 drawer chest & many boxes in the basement, was told they'd return in the morning. Asked why they couldn't go back for them now(we were 5 minutes away)got no answer. Called next day when they didn't show & got runaround for next 5 days(boss will call you back). Finally told I could call all I want, but he won't speak to me. Left a $200 deposit & balance on bill of lading was $1483. Insisted on credit card payment. Processed card on small portable machine;when I asked for my copy was told bill of lading was my copy. When I got monthly statement 2 weeks later, found he fraudulently billed me $1547.29. Extra items they did move were "dumpted" unceromoniously in a huge pile in the garage. I don't think a legitimate company should handle their problems in this fashion. Since they would not respond, I had to press friends & neighbors into assisting me in removing additional items not moved & the various repairs required except for the desk.Desired Settlement: substantial billing adjustment & repair to the desk top & the 2 drawers that are almost impossible to open or close.

Review: April 17th I contacted Ron's Moving and spoke to [redacted] and another man (who did not identify himself). Requested moving service to remove excess furniture from my brothers home in Cherry Hill. Brother is being relocated by wife's employer and they needed to leave immediately. The verbal agreement between Rons Moving and myself was to move a entertainment unit, bed, night stand and double dresser to Mount Laurel and Willingboro at the cost of $520 and I needed to leave a deposit via credit card for 50%. Which I did. On April 21st around 6AM my brother called me to cancel the service with Ron's Moving as he was able to sell the remainder of the homes contents on [redacted]. I called Ron's Moving at 8AM the same day to relay the cancellation. [redacted] informed me that a [redacted] would call me back to confirm cancellation. I called again on the 21st and left another message with [redacted]. End of business of the 21st I received no call. On the morning of the 22nd I left a voice mail message. At around 9:30 on the 22nd I received a call from [redacted] who told me there is a 10 day cancellation policy in their contract. I told him I was not in receipt of a contract nor was I told I need 10 days to cancel when I booked the service 7 days out. [redacted] told me that I forfeit my right to a hardcopy of the contract when I booked over the phone. I assure you, [redacted] did not discussed a cancellation policy with me and I did not refuse a hardcopy of a receipt and/or contract. If Ron's Moving had such a policy it should have been disclosed to me verbally then follow up in writing by U.S. mail or by email. None of those options occurred. [redacted] of Ron's Moving accused me of being a customer that they don't do business with because "I screwed his company" per his message on my voice mail. This was never my intent. However, the rude manner from [redacted] and the lie he told when he said I forfeit the right to a written contract made me file this compliant.Desired Settlement: After I hung up the phone [redacted] called back. I let his call go to voice mail. He was extremely hostile and belligerent. He told me to call their office and provide them the last 4 digits of my credit card so they can refund my money. I am extremely uncomfortable to call since he was very hostile and I don't want to deal with another confrontation with [redacted] or Ron's Moving. I would like the Revdex.com to assist me in getting a refund via check. He said if he doesn't hear back from me he is going about his business. Voice Mail saved.
