Ms. [redacted],   In response to your query, here is what actually happened with complainant Ms. [redacted].   Ms [redacted] came to my Boost Mobile Store with a list of complaints with her device including WiFi not working. She was asked when and where did she purchase her device. Her warranty had expired as per Boost Mobile policy of her device. She said she bought the device from another Boost Mobile store. These are standard questions asked to all customers because of warranty coverage.   Boost Mobile Stores are individually owned and operated franchises. Boost Mobile stores are only responsible to replace or exchange or troubleshoot devices that are bought from that specific store. Boost Mobile stores do not have any on-site technician to trouble shoot devices regardless of where the phone is bought.   Even though Ms. [redacted] did not buy the device from our location, as a courtesy we offered her service and started to check out for the problems that she was complaining about. All issues were resolved on the phone including the device connected to the store WiFi network. Her device connected and web browsing and video was working. We let her know that the WiFi was working, and if she had any other issues or concerns she would have to contact Boost Customer care and they could provide further assistance to her satisfaction. Once she realized that her “Claim of WiFi" not working proved “untrue” she got agitated. Instead of offering "thank you," or asking for the phone back, Ms. [redacted] snatched the phone from my hand and headed out towards the door shouting expletives. She started yelling, "go back to your (explicit) country you (explicit) Arab."   This was totally uncalled for and unacceptable, one cannot enter a store and yell profanities, racial slurs and using expletives to the employees, as well as expect customer service. At this point Ms. [redacted] was told to leave the store and refrain from using expletives and any further service was being refused to her as a result of her racial expletives and slurs.   Ms. [redacted] then approached the counter asking for the owners information because she was going to report the service to Boost corporate continuing to using slurs and expletives. She was presented with the store card, continuing to repeat her ignorant racial expletives telling the owner to go back to his (explicit) country and that he is a (explicit) Arab.   She then stated that she would never come back to the store once told to leave. Once she realized she was being denied service and told to leave the premise and the store, Ms.[redacted], turned around approaching back towards the counter again which seemed to be an intent to start an altercation or physically harm the me the owner. Feeling threatened and damage to life and property, I instinctively took measures and I drew my Concealed Carry Weapon from my waist holster, never pointing it at Ms. [redacted] and yelled at her to leave the store immediately or she would be responsible for her consequences as she would be trespassing. I never breached from behind the counter. She refused to leave the store and kept saying, Go Ahead and Shoot Me," Thats when my son intervened and forced her out of the store. She was led out to the the parking lot. From the parking lot she called SAPD.   SAPD officers came to as the situation of an alleged complaint, of "pointing a gun to shoot." The police officers heard both sides of the situation, and agreed with the store owner, that he was within his rights of holding his ground and refusing service to an ignorant, disrespectful customer. Ms. [redacted] was told not to return back to our store as she would be considered trespassing. I guess she was not content with the outcome of her call to the police, she filed a complaint with Revdex.com.   As a business we strive to offer the best customer service possible always. However, it is not possible to please every customer. Boost Mobile Store owners reserve the right to refuse service to any individual regardless of race, nationality, class, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation. religious affiliation. Furthermore, we as individual franchise owners are not required to offer assistance to customers devices that were bought at a different location.

Boost Mobile stores do not have any on site technician as well.   Even though she did not buy the phone from our location , still we wanted to give her good customer service and started to check out for the problems that she was claiming. From the parking lot she called SAPD. The police had come to deescalate the situation. The police had gotten both sides of the story and agreed with the employee in that he was within his rights of holding his ground and refusing service to an ignorant disrespectful customer complaining about a device that was not sold to her from that location.
