Customer states we did not return to honor our warranty but we did return and corrected the only problems found We would hope our customer would understand and dismiss the complaint We would even be willing to discount future work by 10% as a good faith effort

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and the fact is that all roof supporting that needed to be done was done prior to me giving Roof Stl a deposit on Feb Also yes the roof was leaking prior to me contacting Roof Stl in Dec but that's why I contacted Roof Stl and gave them a deposit, I would not of contacted them if I did not need a roofI expected it to be done in a timely manner after the roof joist were fixed on feb and after the deposit was given on February 2016i just want my deposit back Sincerely, [redacted]

[redacted] did hire us but not with the intentions we would be starting the roof right away as he has failed to mention in his complaint that he had roof support work to complete before we would be scheduled to begin work there on the roof itselfI would also like to point out that while Mr [redacted] stated the roof had been leaking for a half a year and months into our contract this was not the case either and in fact the roof was leaking into the property for over a year when Mr [redacted] first contacted me to look at the roofWe did respond to messages when they were presented in an adult and professional manner and yes we did opt to ignore childish and unprofessional messagesThe delays to this point were at the fault in part of Mr [redacted] as was the weather a problem on a few different occasionsWe will be refunding Mr [redacted] his deposit in full with the hopes of a peaceful resolve

We were notified of a leak in November and scheduled a return visit to assess the problem but a roof fall the day before Thanksgiving has
slowed down our schedule slightlyIt appears the customer has already hired another company in this short time period after notifying us and we had no chance of knowing if the leaking is within our repaired areas to be covered by warranty or not therefore we cannot reimburse the customer but we would entertain photos of the new repairs to see if they are within our originally repaired area

I believe our customer is failing to mention we have been back two times now not one time and both times we returned we found that our customers maintenance man damaged the newly repaired roofWe still made repairs both times at no extra charge but did warn future repairs needed due to damage by
customer would be charged forWe were contacted again following heavy rains and floods and told Mr*** we would return again but it may take us a little longer than to return as we were slightly backlogged due to the area wide storm damage but we never failed to respond and still plan to return again but being the job location is out of the area it has not been possible in the past weeksWe will plan a day within the next weeks to return for warranty work againOur warranty does not include refunding money because we cannot make it back as quick as the customer would like us to for the 3rd time and reminding the first two times were not at any fault of Roof STL

*** and his sons are good hard workers, Im glad we can work this outI would recommend them in the futureI think the main problem here is they were overbooked along with poor weather this summer and were pushing back a lot of jobs including mine

[redacted] did hire us but not with the intentions we would be starting the roof right away as he has failed to mention in his complaint that he had roof support work to complete before we would be scheduled to begin work there on the roof itself. I would also like to point out that while Mr....

[redacted] stated the roof had been leaking for a half a year and 7 months into our contract this was not the case either and in fact the roof was leaking into the property for over a year when Mr. [redacted] first contacted me to look at the roof. We did respond to messages when they were presented in an adult and professional manner and yes we did opt to ignore childish and unprofessional messages. The delays to this point were at the fault in part of Mr. [redacted] as was the weather a problem on a few different occasions. We will be refunding Mr. [redacted] his deposit in full with the hopes of a peaceful resolve.

[redacted] has been a customer of ours for quite some time now and we aren’t sure what lead to this complaint. We replaced a flat roof at the rear of her house March of 2015. Following this we quoted estimates on many other repairs some of which she hired us to do and we completed them. There...

is a chimney at the top of the main peak that was giving her problems and at the time she had a death in her family and was running short on money and could not afford to have it repaired so we made a temporary repair to the chimney free of charge. This was only a temporary repair of which included no guarantee of any period. The free repair lasted for nine months and when it began leaking again she filed this complaint and portraying it was related to the flat roof we did but we returned to her home and inspected the roof although she stated we did not and we only found the upper chimney to be the problem and no issues with the flat roof. We would be happy to continue working with Mrs. [redacted] but the basis of this complaint is illegitimate.

We have already returned to the property and confirmed there are issues on the roof but not related to the repairs our company made. The repairs we made are indeed warranteed but this is not related. Also, we did respond of our willingness to go to arbitration and to date have not received a...

response from the Revdex.com in return. How does this result in a negative against our company? This is very unprofessional if the Revdex.com.

I was asked by a contractor ([redacted]) we have worked with for a few years now to estimate [redacted]’s roof on 8/12/2016 and told it was a rush to get a new roof on so I looked at the roof and supplied the initial quote to [redacted] on 8/13/20116. It was 6 days later that I heard from...

[redacted] when she called on 8/19/2016. I sent her the contract proposal on 8/24/2016 but on 9/8/2016 following numerous contacts to supply shingle samples for [redacted] to choose a shingle color [redacted] again requested a contract and was reminded it was sent to her on 8/24/2016. On 9/8/2016 she also questioned the addition of ridge vent and was directed to the portion of the contract listing the ridge vent included. On 9/8/2016 she also stated she would have a cash deposit for me to pick up and would leave it at her house as she was going out of town for the weekend but then did not return my calls until back in town and then offered the deposit but my schedule was busy so I did not make it to pick up the deposit until 9/19/2016.On 9/23/2016 I received a email from [redacted] insinuating I had her money as if I was planning to keep it and on that same day I replied offering a full refund of which she declined to accept also on 9/23/2016.On 11/16/2016 [redacted] emailed asking the schedule date for her roof and also on 11/16/2016 I replied letting her know the material was arranged for delivery on 11/28/2016 and we would begin work on 11/29/2016 and received a reply on 11/18/2016 from [redacted] stating she was going to shop around for other bids and may require a refund should she decide to go with another contractor of which I replied on 11/20/2016 with a lengthy email including a request for a guarantee of the final payment based on [redacted]’s decision to shop around for other contractors and being unsure I would be paid in full upon completion. On 11/28/2016 I was contacted by [redacted] stating [redacted]’s husband [redacted] asked him to mediate the agreement as [redacted] understood his wife was a pain to deal with and on 12/28/2016 I was contacted by [redacted] himself at which time he stated he would leave a cashier’s check with [redacted] to guarantee final payment if I intended to complete the roof and I responded also on 12/28/2016 stating I would arrange for the material to be delivered on the coming Tuesday 1/3/2017 and on the following day 12/29/2016 I received a reply back stating my proposal sounded fine but on 1/2/2017 I contacted Tim to remind him the material would be delivered the following day and also to tell him we were planning on starting on 1/3/2017 also as opposed to waiting until 1/4/2017 as we had previously discussed and received a reply back at 5:11 am on 1/3/2017 from [redacted] stating he was in Taiwan and we had no access to the property. On 1/26/2017 I received another email from [redacted] stating I had until 1/29/2017 to begin work on the roof or I would be in default of the contract and on 1/28/2017 I responded to let him know we would not be starting the roof on 1/29/2017 and reminding him that he never supplied [redacted] with a cashier’s check for the final payment as he said he would. In addition I also stated I would continue forward to reschedule the roof and complete the job provided another contractor did not complete the roof beforehand and should this be the case I would not bear any liability or expense as I never breached the contract. Also on 1/28/2017 I received another response from [redacted] again requesting a start date or a refund and the same day replied back to [redacted] that a new scheduled date was not yet set but he would be notified as soon as a date was set and that no refund would be issued at this time. Again on the same day I received another response stating I was failing to issue a new start date and would be sued in court so I replied back still on 1/28/2017 with a scheduled start date of 4/1/2017.On 1/29/2017 I received email from [redacted] stating they no longer needed my services and still requesting a refund with the mention of a lawsuit of which I replied back a court case is welcomed and have since had no further contact.Since 1/29/2017 [redacted] has opted to fabricate lies for no other reason but to harm the reputation of Roof STL of which she has succeeded in costing us a job directly based on the false accusations she has posted in multiple reviews over the internet and this along with the numerous hours of wasted time consulting [redacted] and [redacted] on their roof is the reason no refund will be issued and a slander lawsuit against [redacted] and [redacted] is currently being taken into consideration. All statements listed above originated in text and email messages and have also been supplied in picture format with this written statement and is also available in its original form upon request.

I had a wonderful experience with RoofSTL. It's a family owned business and all are knowledgeable and professional. Owner came out, gave a quote, and then, at my request, came back out because I had additional concerns. All of this was done before they were actually hired. Company was honest and kept me informed during the entire process and showed me the problems and explained how it was going to be fixed.
I would recommend this company to anyone. Pricing is fair and the company dosn't subcontract which is a must for us. Its a family company running an honest business and I am happy that I was able to support them.

I don't know if the reviews on this page are directed at the right company? My experience was GREAT! I hired them for repairs around the chimney of my house and to clean my gutters. The crew was very clean and professional and they were in and out in no time. They had everything clean beyond my expectations, and they did it right! Thank you Roof STL, I have no more water issues!
