Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
They didn't offer any resolutionThey clearly stated they knew there were problems with the vehicle and that I had contacted them multiple timesNEVER ONCE did he ask if he could do anything for meHis response was "I'll see what information I can find." After that HE IGNORED my calls and two text messagesThey misrepresented the condition of the vehicle when they sold it to me PERIODAlso there was no negligence on our part, we took our own time and cash to fix the vehicle until we had to take it to a shop to get a pressure test to find out if there was a leak in the head gasket (and there was a huge leak) It turns out, with the head gasket being bad it ruined all those parts we had just fixed, as well as the timing chain needing to be replaced because it was in terrible conditionAGAIN we used our own money and time to fix the vehicle which in the end labor alone was quoted for over $Maybe they should hire a certified mechanic who knows about cars to fix them rather than a random person giving the vehicle a once overMy fiance was able to fix all the problems and he isnt even a mechanicThe fact IS that we bought this vehicle and the head gasket was blownThey knew it was blown, and sold the vehicle under pretenses that the vehicle was in great conditionI will stand by my word and not let some company try to undermine meThey are trying to cover up a deceitful and criminal act.

5/5/16To whom this may concern, on 3/5/2016 [redacted] and [redacted] purchase a 2003 Toyota Solara from my place of business Ultimate Automotive & Detail. Back Story: [redacted] contacted me via our Facebook listing for a 2001 Mazda millennia, we messaged back and forth about the car arid...

agreed that she would come take a look at it, [redacted] then insisted that the only day she would be available to come see the car would subsequently be on a day that we are not open for business, none the less I met her and [redacted] on that day anyway, at approx. 8pm. [redacted] looked over the Mazda saw a few blemishes on the bumpers and decide she did not want that car, no problem, she then took a look at a few of my other vehicles, her and [redacted] went over each car very closely, they started them, let them run, looked under the hood, checked all the functions of each vehicles, and test drove them as well. [redacted] then chose the Solara, they both liked the car, as with all the other vehicles they both checked this car from top to bottom, me along side of them, found nothing to be wrong with the vehicle. I told [redacted] to drive the car, reluctantly she did. She was gone 10-15mins came back all was well on 3/7/16 she bought the car. As with all my pre-owned vehicles the car was sold As-Is and has no warranties, [redacted] signed the document stating such information. They have a copy and so do we. On 3/8/16 I spoke with [redacted] because in good faith they did not have all the money for the car, I allowed them to take delivery of the vehicle that night with a simple promise that she would call me the following day with a credit card to pay the remaining balance, she did. I asked her about the car, her response was that she loved it, and thanked me again, and went as far as even giving me rave reviews on our Facebook page as to haw good of a job I did with them, and how great of an experience it was. On 3/9/16 I get a phone call from [redacted] that evening, about the car overheating on her way to Lawrenceburg Indiana, she stated that she was sitting on the side of the highway waiting for [redacted], I responded with is everything o.k.? her response was yes, and that she was just calling to let me know what was going on with the car, [redacted] suggested that it was the thermostat, and with him being a mechanic she said not to worry about it, that he was going to replace it himself, I said ok. And also told her if she needed something to let me know. On 3/11/16 I received another call from [redacted], she was noticeably frustrated, she then stated that the water pump is bad on the car and she wanted to know if we were going to do something about fixing it, at that time I did remind her that she bought the car as-is but I will see what I can do, and also I would have to run this by my boss whom in which was out of town that weekend, she says ok. Later that evening she took to social media (Facebook) wrote a horrible review, she texted my personal phone, as well as instant messaged me on Facebook, threatening me, and the business, all terrible things! In my eyes she never even gave me the proper opportunity to try to help her remedy her problem. This car left here in proper driving and working order, two days later it started overheating, 6 days later it needed a water pump, now a head gasket. The car has now according to the letter, has been driven 601 miles since the day she bought it. Looks like to me negligence on her part may be the reason for the failure beyond the thermostat. As far as we are concerned at this point, the vehicle was sold AS-IS. And we will not be offering any resolution at this time, or anytime in the future.ULTIMATE AUTO.& DETAIL INC.6859 Main Street Cinti. Ohio 45244 [redacted]n Warren Manager 5/5/16
