Our employee was simply turning around and received a phone callThey are advised not to drive and talk on the phone, so our employee stopped to take the callNo disrespect was meant by stopping in their drivewayNot many people would have an issue with this type of situation but we have asked
our employees to turn around in parking lots and not private driveways

Mr*** did not want the fans, however after we installed the roof per *** written specifications with *** vents he decided he wanted fans after going in his attic, which is understoodWe have installed the fans for him...we apologize for delay as we have a schedule to maintain for the rest of our customersThanks

Company's response below:

Thank you Ms*** for sending this again. After looking back thru my notes & speaking with *** ***, I gather the reason noone responded to you was that the issue was apparently resolved (Mr*** agreed to have fans installed at NO CHARGE to Mr***; the crew did not show up when originally scheduled, which was when Mr*** filed the complaint, which he subsequently indicated he had cancelled the complaint. According to Mr***, the crew was rescheduled & completed the work when they had time between PAID jobs. And as I never heard back from Mr*** after our last contact on Oct10th, I assumed it had been resolved.)
I will continue to follow up on this today & try to confirm that the issue was in fact resolved to Mr***'s satisfaction
Kind Regards,

the client to contact us as soon as possible

A refund was supposed to have processed and I was unaware that the customer did not receive this refund. I am writing a check now that will mail out tomorrow as our mail has already run for the day. We take great pride in keeping our customers satisfied with commitment to exceptional customer...

RoofCrafters Inc has never performed services or provided products to Mrs [redacted].
Mrs [redacted] complaint in regards to another company is just that....a complaint for another company not RoofCrafters Inc.
Fact:
Mrs [redacted] wrote a complaint in regards to password login and ownership of a...

domain.
She was told and now knows.... she was and always has been the owner of that particular domain and is in full control of that domain.

In response to complaint filed by [redacted]er,  she was refunded the entire $7000 to her credit card this morning as we did have to wait until there were funds in the account to do so & rightfully SHOULD have deducted all of the FEES involved with the processing, but in the spirit of "good...

business" we did not.  That deposit, which she OFFERED to pay (12-31-14)  because she did not think her credit card would allow one lump sum payment when the roof was done, was used as soon as it cleared our account, to pay for part of the cost of the metal roofing materials she requested for her roof, materials which are quite costly & we are now basically stuck with as scrap unless or until another customer requests that same type & color & perhaps a portion of it might be able to be used.   During the estimating/sales process, Ms. [redacted]er did ask if we could install the high quality, more expensive metal roofing on the front of the house - the visible part - and a lower quality, less costly roofing on the rear of the house as a way of decreasing the cost.  However, I explained to her that was not possible as the two roofing types do NOT tie in together.  So I knew that she wanted a cheaper option, but when our Bookkeeper, Ms. [redacted]l, told me Ms [redacted]er requested to pay in installments, with the final payment to be made when the roof was complete, I quite naturally ASSUMED that she was committing to hiring Roof Crafters to install her new roof.  So in good faith, I ordered the materials & used the $7000 initial payment to pay on those materials.  It never occurred to me she would rescind our agreement or actually find another roofer who would "cut corners" on the roof installation to make it less costly.Ms. [redacted]er then called on 1-8-15 stating they had some plumbing emergency & would need those funds to pay for so would have to delay the roof job.  By that time the materials had been ordered, manufactured, ready to install AND paid for in part with her $7000. Our Bookkeeper, [redacted]l, has been speaking with Ms. [redacted]er & relaying the messages to me; however as I have been traveling alot on business, she was not aware that the materials had been received & paid for & why the delay in refunding. In any case, she has her refund - IN FULL.Kind Regards,[redacted]Roof Crafters###-###-####

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The response from [redacted] is a total lie.  He is correct in that I was the owner of the domain name for [redacted].  However, I had absolutely NO IDEA until recently that they set up the domain in my name several years ago.  I had no knowledge of that and they did not have the authority from me to do so.  And because I had no knowledge that a domain for the website was in my name, I obviously did not have the username and passord to control it.  [redacted] and [redacted], owners of [redacted], set it up, and illegally and without my knowledge had total control including the username and password. In fact, those two fellows got mad about my complaint to Revdex.com and shut down the entire website of [redacted], without warning or permission, causing loss of business.  That's what happens when a company ([redacted]) that develops websites for roofing companies also has ownership in a competitive roofing company (Roof Crafters).  Shutting down the website for [redacted] can only help the business of Roof Crafters.  Although they tried to lie at first about shutting it down, they finally admitted that they shut it down in retaliation for my prior complaint.  We are in the process of getting another website up with another company and [redacted] needs to leave the website alone until the other one is up and running.

[redacted]
