Roofing Specialists

We installed stacked pipe on the main house in October of This has a year warranty As a favor to the customer, we repaired a leak on her garage while we were there She was not charged for this and it fixed the leak Over the winter the ice backed up and caused it to leak again We had told the customer the garage roof would need to be replace and she did acknowledged this

The consumer had the roof repaired incorrectly before we were hired We were hired to fix leaks on portions of the roof and it really should have been torn down and completely redone We tore off and redid the flat roof, repaired another section, sealed and repaired the skylights We have been back to help her with leaks different times and have hired other roofers to help assess the problem I will try to have someone come to look at it one more time, when weather permits

Response taken over the phone: We had over roof calls to remove ice this winter and have had no complaints This consumer never contacted our business to tell us that there was any damage The roof was damaged to begin with and that is why it was leaking from the iceWe told her we could seal it with tar for an additional $but we never heard from the consumer so we never went back

The shingle and roof repair in the proposal that the consumer submitted, refers to the upper roof by the chimney stack This is where we did the major work We did inform the customer that she did need a new garage roof but she asked us to repair it for now She would need to get a loan to replace it We agreed to repair it When what we replaced began leaking from the rain in the fall, we came back The first worker could not find the leakso a more experience worker came and was able to find the leak and fixed it It rained after that and she never called me Ice dams caused the lower roof to start leaking over the winter We never touched this part of the roof, therefore it is not covered by the warranty

We were willing to do just a repair, she wanted a new roof because she was selling the houseI did not want to do the whole roof ( no time on schedule) so I

6-7-17 To the representative at the Revdex.com, I find the response to my complaint from Roofing Specialist to be unacceptable. After I filed the initial complaint on 4-21-17, I received a call from the owner's (John S[redacted]) brother, Ron S[redacted] and he said he would come out on Saturday, 4-29-17 at 9 AM to finally take care of the issue. I have NOT heard from John S[redacted] since 4-17-17 when he stated on my voicemail that they could not fix the problem; we would need a carpenter to fix it. I have the audio voicemail on my phone for a record. The rain is NOT overflowing in the gutters; it is seeping behind the gutter and the siding. Ron said he would remove all the siding, open everything up, and take care of it properly so we could be done once and for all. Ron did not show up on 4-29-17, and I have not heard from him since or received a call that they would be coming out to finish the repair. Every time it rains, the water continues to seep behind the gutter and down the siding, which is the issue that we initially called Roofing Specialist to resolve.  Based on unreliable, unsatisfactory service that does not satisfy our contract, I would like a full refund. The contract stated that Roofing Specialist could take care of the problem, but they have not fixed the issue at all. I have attached a copy of the contract, which states there is a guarantee by the company for 5 years on the labor of the job.  Thank you, [redacted]

is a very weird design, where there is 4" gutters and she will continue to get overflow of rain when a big storm comes.  I advised her that she needs to get a carpenter to rebuild gutter flow.  It can't be repaired to take a lot of rain.  However, the last time she complained was 5-6 months later after a big storm in Syracuse.

He is still not telling the truth. I also gave him a coupon from the clipper magazine from the Roofing Specialist for $300 off and he honored it. [redacted] kept telling me John just likes to sit back and collect the money. Also the back of the check is clearly signed John [redacted] not [redacted]. Where do we go from here? He is a liar and I'm trying to sue him in small claims court and can't because of no address.Regards,
