Review: **. [redacted], owner of Roofing Specialties, put a roof on the back half of our house in 10/2008 which has a 15 yr warranty on labor, material and workmanship. In April 2013 we noticed water marks on the wood around our chimney. After numerous times calling leaving messages, [redacted] called and said he would be out the following day. That day came and went never showed never called. Finally [redacted] did show up, said that we needed to get our chimney pointed and he would come back and fix the wood and flashing. When the person who did the pointing noticed that the flashing was done crappy and that there was a hole in the shingles toward the edge of the roof that was going down to the bare, our person told us to bring that to the attention of [redacted] so he can fix it before we have another leak. We have been calling [redacted], leaving messages to let him know we got the chimney pointed like the said but he has not returned our calls He doesn't know of the hole near the edge yet because we can't get a hold of him. **. [redacted] if he ever returns calls says he will be out, never gives a time but never shows up or calls back. I would like my roof fixed, since I am entitled for I have a warranty. **. [redacted] puts out a good selling pamphlet and lots of recommendations, copies of awards but they all mean nothing when you can't back up you word or warranties. He is good for taking the new business and money but forget it if you have a problem! Poor public relations!Desired Settlement: I want my roof fixed and the new hole that is in it too! I am unemployed now and my husband is retired therefore we can't afford to have a new contractor come in and fix the work that he did! I want [redacted] to fix it, if he can't We want to be compensated for the the damages. **. [redacted]'s business was at [redacted], PA [redacted] but moved to [redacted], PA [redacted]

Review: Roofing Specialties installed a new roof on [redacted]. (my home) about 2 years ago. I've had an ongoing leaking problem around my chimney ever since. The owner [redacted] has tried to fix but still leaking into attic above my family room which I have buckets under. The last 6 to 8 months I've called them with no response. Now when I called their phone no. the response is you have the wrong no. I just want to get this fixed. I've already had to make repairs to my family room ceiling. I would like them to honor their warranty, which they claim to be the best in the industry. Review: I am filing this complaint against a roofing company called Roofing Specialties. This company advertises that they are a member of the Revdex.com. I hired this company to put siding on my house about 6 years ago. After they finished the job, I paid the bill in full. Part of the reason why I chose this company was because the labor and materials come with a 15 year warranty. About a month after the job was completed, some of the siding fell off of the house. We called the company and they came out and fixed it. A few years later more siding began to buckle and fall off the house, and again they came and fixed it. Later, the garage section started to buckle and fell off, so I decided to fix it myself. When I went to fix it, I noticed that the nails were not where they should be. I called the company but received no response. In January 2013, I noted more siding buckling and and ready to fall off. After multiple phone calls, the company finally returned my call and the owner agreed to come out to my house, but he never came. As a retired tradesman, I can see now that they did an inadequate job throughout the house. I have repeatedly called them in the last few weeks, but have received no response and just get the answering machine.Desired Settlement: I would like the company to fix the siding that is falling off the house and buckling.
