The contract Ms [redacted] signed states what work is to be done, and it is clearly not a general contract intended to cover all of the many problems with her property For example, the contract does not include replacing rotten soffits, eaves, or fascias, nor did we tell Ms [redacted] that it would or in any way imply that it would. As [redacted] says, the job was started promptly and it was completed in good time Unfortunately, gutter screens and old lightning rods were damaged during their removal Ms [redacted] and I have already agreed on compensation for the damages. We have not installed new shingles over rotten wood As will be expected, removing shingles from an older building often exposes rotten wood that needs to be replaced As stated in the contract, there is specified additional costs for replacing wood This is because until the wood is exposed it is often impossible to predict what needs to be replaced. While work was being completed a qualified foreman, sometimes forewoman, was on site, and when [redacted] had a question or concern, she was directed to him or her, not because they speak English but because it is their job to answer questions and to address concerns Warren came to the job site at least five times while the crew was there, but unfortunately she was rarely available We also phoned her and left at least five messages without receiving a reply, with five additional calls that lead to meetings. The leaking section of roof Ms [redacted] refers to was explicitly not part of the roof that was included in the original contract, which is why I explained to her that those leaks were not my responsibility It is my opinion that the leaks she is experiencing are from the roof we did not replace. We did additional work to address some of the the issues she mentions that were not part of the contract in an attempt to make a happy customer I would estimate the extra work to be worth approximately $2, Also wood replacement on roof decking (which is itemised on contract) was an extra cost of $1,400.Ms [redacted] is mistaken when she suggests that my employees write references for me The list she refers to does contain a reference from a customer who joined my company years after I completed his roof and years after he wrote a reference When hiring new employees I am certainly not going to exclude from consideration anyone who has gone on record about the excellent quality of my company’s work.Should a nonpartisan roofing expert from the county Building Authority care to inspect our work, I have no doubt that they will determine that it was completed to the highest standard I have already instructed my lawyer to begin legal proceedings against Ms *** I intend to pursue legal action until the outstanding balance on the contract has been paid in full

The contract between Roofs by Warren and myself, states "Remove and replace house and garage roof" How is part of the roof not covered under that? I went by the estimator's expertise as to what my roof needed Again, we discussed in depth areas of known rot, including the small separate garage that you can see directly the rotted wood under the shingles There are visible DIPS in my roof that are noticeable from the street How can my shingles be warranted for years if they are nailed to rotted wood? Wouldn't this nullify the warranty? This does not include the sofits and fascia mentioned by Roofs by Warren. The contract also states "RE-seal flat metal w/GACC" The statement is incredibly vague, especially to someone who is not a roofer I have flat metal roofs, both were coated, one leaks like a sieve, the main roof If this was not sufficient to keep my roof from leaking, then why was it put on the contract or even suggested? I hired Roofs by Warren for their expertise to REPLACE my roof, at a substantial cost at that My roof now leaks more than it did I have ceiling wallpaper coming down now and mildew in my upstairs apartment I still cannot rent said apartment until the roof is finally fixed I am losing $a month in revenue.I have spoken with a lawyer and have gathered estimates to properly fix my roof ranging from an additional 4-7,dollars These contractors have also pointed out major flaws in the roof that was done by Roofs by WarrenOne A+ Revdex.com contractor, stated that his company was making a living, just fixing all of "Roofs by Warren's" mistakes. The response from Roofs by Warren, wants a "non-bipartisan" county inspection done The county inspector, [redacted] , is retired from Clark County after years of service and now works part-time for Champaign county He is very respected in the field The day he inspected my roof, he was training a man for Logan County Even with part-time and from another county, he is still sought out for his expertise

The contract between Roofs by Warren and myself, states  "Remove and replace house and garage roof".  How is part of the roof not covered under that? I went by the estimator's expertise as to what my roof needed.  Again, we discussed in depth areas of known rot, including the small separate garage that you can see directly the rotted wood under the shingles.  There are visible DIPS in my roof that are noticeable from the street.  How can my shingles be warranted for 50 years if they are nailed to rotted wood?  Wouldn't this nullify the warranty? This does not include the sofits and fascia mentioned by Roofs by Warren. The contract also states "RE-seal flat metal w/GACC".  The statement is incredibly vague, especially to someone who is not a roofer.  I have 2 flat metal roofs, both were coated, one leaks like a sieve, the main roof.  If this was not sufficient to keep my roof from leaking, then why was it put on the contract or even suggested? I hired Roofs by Warren for their expertise to REPLACE my roof, at a substantial cost at that.  My roof now leaks more than it did.  I have ceiling wallpaper coming down now and mildew in my upstairs apartment.  I still cannot rent said apartment until the roof is finally fixed.  I am losing $500 a month in revenue.I have spoken with a lawyer and have gathered estimates to properly fix my roof ranging from an additional 4-7,000 dollars.  These contractors have also pointed out major flaws in the roof that was done by Roofs by Warren. One A+ Revdex.com contractor, stated that his company was making a living, just fixing all of "Roofs by Warren's" mistakes. The response from Roofs by Warren, wants a "non-bipartisan" county inspection done.  The county inspector, [redacted], is retired from Clark County after 30 years of service and now works part-time for Champaign county.  He is very respected in the field.  The day he inspected my roof, he was training a man for Logan County.  Even with part-time and from another county, he is still sought out for his expertise.
